Ronaldinho and Petr Cech are the best. Beckham is the greatest. Don't ask me to explain all that. :)

petr cech! you have to be kidding me! Ronaldinho yes, but cech not anymore maybe before his injury.

Not even Ronaldinho. nowadays, we have a lot of players who are playing better, like Riquelme, Messi or mainly, Kaká.

Beckham is just marketing. You can like him, call him "god" or something else, but he never was one of the greatest ones. He's a guy who knows how passing very well. :)

Nope,Brad Friedel is the best (if only because he's from the same area I live in,hell his parents house is a ten minute walk away from me)....that's as good a method as any to pick the best keeper:)

I hate Kaka. I hate Christiano Ronaldo. I hate Riquelme. But I love Ronaldinho. I love Drogba. I love Henry. I love Terry. I love Tim Cahill. But most importantly, I used to love BECKHAM.

I went through a phase where I hated everyone that was good. I was always goin' for the underdogs. BUt I changed. So I hated every Brazillian player, because they were sooo good. But now the only Brazillian players that I like are Ronaldinho and Dida. And I hate everyone who plays for Milan except Dida. Just recently Kalac made it back into my good books.
By the way Malons, I'm very self-centered. I use it on the soccer pitch, because a confident goalkeeper cheezes strikers off. It works. They miss sooooooo many good opportunities.

Beckham plays very limited time tonight for the first time, I'll have to check it out :).....and he's the greatest atm- no not best- I feel it's very hard to truly judge ones soccer abilities compared to MLB NFL NBA or NHL. But many years ago I did begin watching English premiere league soccer and have loved soccer ever since.(go Arsenal!!!)The MLS is improving and support here climbs slowly and Beckham helps...alot. Anyways I was actually trying to reply to not HATING anyone- lol. I agree 100% except....I hate the Mexico team for the way they play and their lack of respect and what they have done to US players in the past- they don't even play soccer- they kick people and grab nutts, etc. I think any US soccer fan feels the same way if they've watched matches vs them in the past.

I especially like the way the Mexican NT refused to shake hands after matches with the US NT(although they did shake hands after the gold cup final) really shows a lot of class and sportsmanship.

oh yeah! I had forgot all about that one- but yes- with being the WORLDS largest sport I have always admired the respect most nations seem to have toweards one another....not the case w/ those guys. I noticed it seems the tensions deteriorating which is good.

Watching LA-Chelsea match and the energy level is high- good game too. ESPN cameras spending too much time on the celebrities who showed up though :) oh well....understandable considering it's in LA.

mexico plays dirty i remeber when Blanco stomped on a US player in the world cup back then.........i think thats what it was
