I didn't hear anything about the US - Panama game (haven't had the TV on today). What was it like?
2007-06-17 23:05:35
US let Panama hang in too long, due to poor finishing, until the hour mark. Then had to hang on after Panama pulled one back to make it 2-1 with less than 10 to play.

US needed the ref to overlook an Onyewu handball to avoid blowing a 2 goal lead against 10 men.

Same ref that missed the handball by a Panamanian CD sitting on a yellow that should have been his 2nd as well.

It's a wash, eh? :)

true I wasn't hating on the fact we won but rather saying we should'nt have let ourselves be in that situation. hope we play better against seca's boys especially since i'll be in the stands!!

Heehee. Enjoy! Sounds like a blast.

Thought Canada's last game was their best so far. Maybe hitting our stride ... look out! :D

i thought the US came out with numerous oppurtunites........

oppurtunites tho where they should of found the back of the net early on

twellman had two good chances if i remeber correcly in the begining and he missed both.

i missed Panamas goal because i was at a party was it a nice one?

It was a strange goal. He went in on two US players, a third one jumped in and actually caused the ball to go back on the feet of the Panamanian striker who buried a nice shot in the lower right corner. He shot it so hard that it bounced right off the back post and out to the 18-yard line.

I dunno mexico will be a tough game for them and it will basically be a home game for mexico considering thier large us fan base, I'll be rooting for guadaloupe but its gonna be tough.

on the other hand nobody gave them a shot against anybody else and they got this far.

i want guadaloupe to win but, mexico will definately be a challenge it will be a interesting game to watch im more worried about the US v Canada game

hopefully the US can bring home the North Amercian Border W

I'm not exactly a Vegas handicapper, but I see:

Mexico 3 Guadaloupe 0
USA 2 Canada 1

I'm hoping Canada will surprise, but think most would be happy just to keep it close. :)

I've really been impressed with the pace of the US team - have seemed very quick in the partial matches I've watched.

i think the Mexico v Guadaloupe game will be closer then that mexico has struggle against teams like costa rica who played with.... wat was it 8 men? and only one 1-0. They dropped Honduras 2-1 but that was with a man down.

The USA v Canada game i totally agree with you i think it will be a close game if they put the same lineup out that they put out last game i think they can keep it close

USA v Mexico
