so, for the third game in a row usa had to depend on a penalty
And for the 3rd game in a row they missed (or hit post) on an empty net.
but for the 11th time in a row, bob bradley refuses to lose. (gotta say that before arg. waxes our b-side)
for the 9th time in a row, mexico fails to win on american soil.

for the third time in a row....they needed a penalty to win, because the chances they had to score clearly they didn't take advantage off..
don't know about the other games.
but vs. canada, they needed a penalty, and for the ref to cancel a clear canadian goal.
vs mexico, they needed a penalty, one that many, of course mexico fans, are saying was a dive.

I consider myself a neutral observer, and I thought it was a penalty. I also thought it was pretty stoic of the US side to come back, regardless of how the goals were scored.
There are a number of people who complain about the current Sokker ME. I can only hope they saw the Beasley miss. :)

hahahah that is such a great point, although probably less common those misses DO happen in real life.
it did look like a penalty to me, but on the other hand we did have some very borderline almost penalties in our own box, onyewu really needs to work on his game

yea thats why onyewu plays in belgium and not in england
It looked like a penalty to me as well ,and since Ching didn't throw his hands up in the air and swan dive or writhe around on the ground like someone cut his leg off(in other words he played it like a man) he should have been awarded two PK's.:)...I also thought the monkey boy antics of the keeper as he awaited Donovan's PK were pretty bush league...if I had been reffing and Donovan missed ,I would have awarded him another kick since the keeper was a full yard off his line before the ball was struck.( I saw this happen in a B league game not too long ago)
Well those that complain about the Sokker ME havea right, because as any Man City fan knows Beasley sucks!

Just rings of Borgetti!!! Funny thing is, when he got hurt, it is so hard to think it wasn't a dive.

Beasley is easily the most disappointing player the US has produced recently,he showed so much early promise and has regressed as he's gotten older. My uncle in Germany says he suffers from "stone feet", and that break away was a perfect example.
Your uncle is kind, he is scared of his own shadow. He is great in beating players (except keepers) in space. Can finish 90% of job, but rarely finishes it with a goal.
