series ii.01 has finished the first half of the season with three strong teams:

Team Matches Wins Draws Losses Goals Points
1. Real Hawkes 7 6 0 1 28-11 18
2. FC Warriors 7 5 1 1 21-6 16
3. T syndicated 7 4 3 0 21-3 15

These are three good teams and anyone could still win, although noone is probably ready for CPL play:(
In fourth is Peace River, a team in decline these days. There has been no login since Oct30th. After 50 days the owner will lose control of the team and when a new owner takes over, it is my understanding that national team players, like regular defensive midfielder, Omar will be automatically transfer listed.
FC DW, the Death Knights and I love Chelsea are also rans this season.
The N.Barbarians have given up all of their payers in a fit of indignation at the injustice of it all and are thusly mired in last place and earmarked for relegation.

NT players are only TL'd when the team is replaced. So should Peace River go bot, it would need to drop to III and have a new owner before Omar would be released.

(Moreau, Garvey and Barry have long white beards from waiting for Apocalypse to drop to III and be replaced).

Some interesting races. :) Real Hawkes look strong to repeat as II.1 champs.

In the CPL Partizan 74 is just 3 points back of Valiant, but is trailing in goal differential - so they will need some help. Jalea of Scarberia is still lurking.

Been a bit of a shift in the power structure of the leagues. II.3 always used to be the group of death. Doesn't seem so anymore.

50.5 Canadian Premier League
38.7 League II.02
38.4 League II.03
35.3 League II.01
35.2 League II.04

As you pointed out, CPL is still a big step up. The teams that seem to have a better chance of succeeding tend to be strong defensive teams. Of the current division leaders, Kamloops might have the best chance of surviving the top league.
