I'm pretty sure what I want to do, but thought the question might make for some interesting discussion.
The tactic is part of the consideration in a decision like this. I, for obvious reasons, can't disclose that information tho. :)

Depends on how deep you have the defence. If you play for offsides then you want the faster one, if the defence is deep then a shot stopper.
I wouldn't even contemplate using a player that slightly injured.

Agreed - the tactic is a big part of it. But like I said, can't divulge that info. :)
Personally I have no problem using a player who is SI 1 or 2 (assuming he's more skilled then the next best option). Think there is very little effect. But once you get to 3 it's a little iffy. Parker should be 4 - but could well be 3 or 5.
Why even consider him? Because he's head, shoulders, chest and abdomen above the next best option. Well, at least statistically. :)
