Subject: Voyageur Cup - Season 12
Looking forward to this match Seca, as well as our CPL outing. I'd like to take one of the matches. My ears are crossed :)
Good game raskal...you won the midfield and put a couple away nicely, but Valiant's d was too strong. And Amado is a force up front. I liked the third Amado goal the best - on the breakaway you think he is going to shoot but he takes one more touch..around the goalie and then there is just a big yawning empty net to put the ball neatly away.
Wow what a game, loosing 0-3 after first half but put some presure in the second and finished 3-3 at the regular time. In the extra time presure again and win 5-4. What a game to watch.
BTW are the ticket prices different for cup games?
Newer payed attention at this but now after two home games, league game sold out 34000 spectators and cup game 32561 but for the cup game got half the money.

Entertaining match. Some great striking by Szerszunowicz - 2 of 3, all from outside the 18. Hares midfield played very well - figured Broussard and Curley would have their hands full, but I thought they did alright (for strikers).
Amado was great. MID order made him pass a few times in clear shooting situations, but he still played very well. His 2nd goal was harsh (hard to beat a keeper from that angle) but there were a few other great chances that were missed, so maybe it evens out. A big worry had been service for Amado - I had fears all the balls might head for Parise - but Amado saw lots of action.
Looks like the Hajduk - Jalea match is worth a watch later. :)

Still haven't watched any matches yet. We came pretty close in the score line but certainly not with shots again :/ Looks like I'll have to win the CPL match this week Seca ;)

hehe Amado second goal made me laugh, mind you so did his second post that surely should have beat Kisieliński :) Placing Gan on that side didn't help my cause. I was thinking that just as Amado potted his first goal. He's is still a tad bit slow :D
I was rather disappointed with Zabos kicking the ball out of play so much. I would suspect him to service the ball a bit better :/ On the other hand Chiozzotto had a solid match I thought.

Didn't find the Hajduk - Valiant match that entertaining. Both sides seemed a little flat. Thought Ademolu had a nice game for Burnaby. Tho Amado had 2 goals, it was a pretty quiet night for him. He didn't see the ball much, and passed it immediately anytime he did.
Another unfortunate loss for Partizan 74. Had more pressure, shots and chances. Bad luck having the keeper take a knock and then face a break-away before he can be subbed off. Ramos with a career night - and in tragic form to boot.

Thanks. According to what you wrote in the other thread, this is a familiar final pair.
Valiant's roster is in better shape then Rovers. Rovers have 2 starting defenders suspended, and O Lav still out injured. Valiant has everyone available - including Neto, who will play his first match in a while coming off an injury.
I expect this to be Amado's last match with the club. Hoping he goes out with a bang. :)

ohhh, so Amado won't play sunday league game, cool.
That's true. Going to be the Killer Bs from now on. :)
I was hoping to keep Amado away from Surman, and was fortunate to do so. He had a pretty easy time with Dawson. I thought there were a few signs of young Parise's progress - gave Surman trouble on a couple of occasions.
Thanks all for an interesting Cup. :)

I would have love to see someone else winning the cup but today well deserved win by Valiant boys, well played, no chance on the other side only 1 shot by Rovers. Valiant defence worked very well hard to get past those boys. Congratulation Valiant FC for 5th Voyageur cup win.
