Malaysia

1. Canada will score the first 2 goals.
No. Converted a 2nd minute penalty, but had trouble finding the twine after that. Malaysia scored the second goal of the match in minute 30.

2. Canada will score the final goal
No. Malaysia with the dagger in the 89th minute to steal a draw.

3. There will be a goal scored in the first 10 minutes.
Yes. They don’t come much quicker then minute 2. ;)

4. The Malaysia keeper will save 50% or more of on-target shots.
Yes. He played well. Canada got 10 of 17 shots on target, and the Malaysian keeper saved 7 of them (70%).

5. Canada will have more unassisted goals then assisted goals.
No. Vince Lemieux with helpers on 2 of the 3 goals.

6. Canada will have 55% or more possession.
No. 51%. I didn’t think it really reflected the play. Canada with some excellent ball control and movement. Much of Malaysia’s possession came from a few long counter-attacking runs.

7. 55% of more of the match will be played in Malaysia's territory.
Yes. 64%. That’s called “setting up camp”. Unfortunately it couldn’t be parlayed into more goals.

8. There will be 5 or more fouls called (both teams combined).
Yes. Malaysia with 6 all by themselves. :)

9. Total shots in the match will be 18 or more.
Yes. Canada with 17 all by themselves. :)

10. A substitute (either side) will make the scoresheet (goal, assist or foul).
