good luck. there has to be at least 1 game where everything works out.
Finally some goals :)
Still I would put the 2 outer strikers more into the middle if you also play with wingers!
Wyns unusual position made him score his first assists though :)
Also no injuries as far as I remember!
But don't let the centre striker score all the goals :)
Btw. our goal difference is now +1 compared to Island!

Congrats on a great result. :) Making a tactic for Tunisia is the proverbial rearranging of deck chairs on the Titanic. :D
W Lav the playmaker? :P Looked sharp on his assists. Good match by almost everyone. Exception (IMO) was Holden. I'm assuming he was in because of his passing skill, but he gave no evidence of it. His passing was brutal. I'd be tempted to use midfielders (ie., Verville, Omar) as fullbacks (not centerback) in a match like this where the oppponent is this weak.
I'm still not that thrilled with the left striker's positioning. It's not philosophical - it's more matching tactic to the player. Amado is Ryan Smith - he ain't Brett Hull. He should be crashing the net and not dropping back for an 18 yarder.
Once more - nicely done. :) Got the mojo going now.

Great match Laufer, now it's getting really interesting :D
Nice rematch against Tunisia. Most everyone played well - my Broussard a notable exception. His 4 for 22 shooting wasn't exactly awe-inspiring.
Building a pretty good goal differential now. Looking good. :)

Yeah everyone played well, good result. 20 assists in one game has to be a Canadian record :)
2 times 24:0 against Tunisia? Nice.
Wyns shooting was deadly.
I could see fear and pain in the keeper's eyes when Wyn ignited his rocket boots.
You have played him a bit too far back and too much on the side to my taste, though.
At least at certain ball positions.
That's why his rating is that low (he had to use too much playmaker and passing).
No injuries as far as I remember and a solid results.
I kinda feel sorry for Tunisia....

@Seca
Broussard was rubbish, lol.
He starts getting blind? Cataract with 24 years? :P

Finland's venerable winger Hannu Ala-Aho is on the TL for those who want to take a look.
A winger with incredible defending, now I really am frightened of what their central midfield is like.
Why would someone give 24 million for a 28 year old, i wouldn't pay that much if he had every single skill divine....or is that just me?? :)) I guess some people have so much money they don't know what to do with it...
Some people need players with such skills and you just don't get them younger.
Nice player.
His defending is completely wasted on the offensive winger position though.

I know but still man...he's almost 29 now, his skills are in decline, in 2-3 seasons he won't be worth 10 mil if that
I've always wondered about his positioning on the wing (seems a dream central middie), but like Cometer says, it probably speaks to the strength of the Finnish midfield (& squad).
I know what your saying Laufer, and it's more then I'd pay. :) But this guy's not only a premium player, he's one of the more recognizable names in Sokker. It takes a pretty good offer to pry players like that loose. (It's also a repatriation, which usually adds a little more to what the purchaser will pay).

Tactic and the lineup is set for the Guatemala match, let's hope for some more goals than last time these 2 sides met :) and no injuries!
