My winger Cassano got a 200% shooting average in his last game!
Why, i know of some that have an undefined shooting percentage!
He scored a goal when he was trying to pass:)

If there was no crowd cheer, as the ball left his foot, it was a pass
I have plenty of players with infinite shooting average.
1 goal with no shot for example.
Not uncommon since penalties and passes do not count as goal shot.
Well at least not uncommon for me, but our teams slogan is "beyond infinity" as one can see when looking at our clubs logo! :)

Penalties do count as a goal shot and are included on the report. Passes don't count as a goal shot though which allows for the ability of scoring without a shot ;).

I'm almost 100% sure that a penalty shot does not count as goal shot! :)
In reality they are different, but in sokker they get registered as the same thing I'm fairly certain.
In this match for example,Bernadico's only shot was a penalty shot and it got recorded as a shot in statistics:

Well then I'm 100% wrong!
:P
It is the penalty at the penalty shoot-out that does not count as a shot.
I thought this was the case for all penalties, but you are right, regular penalties are indeed recorded as shots :)

Yeah, I thought something seemed a bit weird, it's only shootouts that don't count I can only guess because it was outside of regulation time. Whether it should or shouldn't though I don't know, probably easiest to just count it as a shot rather than having a separate thing for if it was a penalty shot.

Actually you're almost 100% wrong =p
