Subject: Good Pops

so i got this week, from training pace, 6 pops in pace with 1 random in Tech and 2 randoms in Plmk. one of the plmk randoms is useless (from hopeless to unsatisfac) but the other was for a main squad forward form solid to VG. and the tech was on a second string defence from good-solid... with some pace he makes the A team. =)

but back to topic.. is this considered a REALLY good week? or decent but could be better?

Six pops in pace is about right. A talented young player with low pace will pop every 2-3 weeks, going up to 5-6 weeks when they're around solid-formidable. I got exactly one pace pop (for my 27-year-old of all people!) this week, but I got more than my share over the previous two weeks (nearly my whole roster).

You beginning to understand why you want a 22-man roster when you're training pace? (-:

yeah, but whats really nice is all 3 of my forwards popped in pace, plus my future goalie, and a 26 y/o defenceman.. im selling the defenceman and the 3rd forward after the 10th-12th week of this season.

what really nice is my coach has decently high tech and plmk which helps all players pretty much, a bonus to have those randomly popping once in a while in the season.

and how sad is it that my tragic guy hasn't popped yet... =( he should have been the first to pop, lol.

I got 9 pace pops this week plus a few randoms. That is more than I'm used to, but I bought some really slow players over the off-season (when I was training stamina) and seven of them got their first pop this week (after two weeks of pace training). Next week, there are only nine players on my roster with a chance of popping; I'm expecting somewhere around 4-6 actual pops.
