Hello people!!!

We are arranging the U21 American Cup this season.

This is a non-official (friendly) tournament which has been played before in 2 opportunities (with the seniors teams) and the actual champion is Chile (the first one was Argentina). This tournament is arranged to integrate and compare the National Teams (and now U21 teams) of the whole America.

The methodology is thought like this: (but it is not fixed because we don't know how many countries will say yes to this invitation, actually there is another idea, the important here is that we are working on this stuff and we have time)

3 groups of 6 teams. The first one and the second one of each group go to the second round.

Sorry, I am having some issues with people around the continent and I won't arrange this season the American Cup.

how about just waiting till the coaches are elected?

we are waiting, but we need to invite the teams because after it could be hard to fix the fixture.

When there is no coach elected yet, who is going to accept the invitation?

BTW I checked USA forum and I didn't see anyone accepting.

off course there is no an "official" response, because there's no one elected.

I wrote "would", because it's an option.

In the different countries

via sk mail, one candidate or more have told me their interest

or the community itself has done the same on each forum thread.

i am sure that different coaches have different ideas. And possibly many promised countries are still going to reject this invitation and some who before said no, still might take a part.
So i suggest you send the all invitations out once more after the elections.

The invitation is there.

I have spoken with different coaches in every country, if I said "they will participate" is just because the most optioned candidates, answer yes.

anyway, as you said, some of them could say no, but my work is to recollect the impression in every country.

And the last thing is that the NT U21 is not the responsibility of one. The community could say what the Canadian people want.

thats true- people are the ones who choose the coaches.
