For such a small country Andorra, 16 users is a huge number. Also they have a nice youth squad there.



Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra (Catalan: Principat d'Andorra), also called the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra, is a small landlocked country in western Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by Spain and France. Once isolated, it is currently a prosperous country mainly because of tourism and its status as a tax haven. The people of Andorra are currently listed as having the highest human life expectancy in the world, at an average of 83 years at birth (2008 est). Andorra is the sixth smallest nation in Europe. Its name is thought to be derived from that of an ancient Basque tribe, the Andosinos, that is believed to have inhabited that region of the Pyrenees thousands of years ago.

The Andorra national football team is controlled by the Andorran Football Federation. Andorra is a very new country in international football; the national team has existed for slightly over 10 years. They have recorded three victories so far, all at home.
In the 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign they received more red and yellow cards than any other team.

Since Andorra asked for an U-20 line up but kinda late and this week I didn't have much time to prepare U-20 team. Anyway I will use as many I have in the DB.

Please take that tactic out behind the barn and shoot it.

That was simply awful. It should have been much closer than it was - our players are overall no worse than theirs - but we completely gave away the midfield. We essentially had seven DEFs and one MID, with no-pace Raber trying to cover half the pitch against five Andorrans. We had nobody within fifty yards of our strikers to feed them the ball, and that was basically the story of the match.

For a team that asked for U20, they sure used an awful lot of 21-year-olds!

Gusberti, McMillan, and Blackburn/Raines were in "no man's land" the entire game. And Raber is just not good enough to deliver the quality ball up front. And that's the ball game right there

Tactic was awful I agree with you guys but look at their speed they entered the field. In compare to them our players looked like seniors. As much as my tactic was bad his IMO was very very good.

Anyway all of this wouldn’t been the issue in any way if he didn’t ask me for U-20.
I understand you, don't worry I only say that because we are going to start playing with some 20y players... because Andorra is a small country and some players with 20 or 19 are better than 21...

That was his last message so I thought ok I will add some young ones too. At the end it turns out to be he entered his best squad and those are the 21 years old with I count 4 under 20.
Well I don’t blame him for this, it is my foult.

Interesting game this week vs Mexico.

Very nice game and win for our guys well deserved, tactic worked fine and according to the plan. I knew they gonna go with wide winger since they use it in every game so I went with 5 def. Anyway our defence is poor as you all know but still we menaged some great tackles and some not so great which led to the Mexico goals. Offside trap worked well. Couple chances where our striker all alone in front of keeper with poor finish, don't blame them they did a very good job. At the end 89-90 minutes looked like ages and very scary but we survived. Some very good saves by our keeper well done. Hooper should have enter the field at the 80 minute, I don't know why he didn't??
BTW I had a very good feeling for this game and tactic I made, that we might beat Mexico and we did indeed.
