Very nice game and win for our guys well deserved, tactic worked fine and according to the plan. I knew they gonna go with wide winger since they use it in every game so I went with 5 def. Anyway our defence is poor as you all know but still we menaged some great tackles and some not so great which led to the Mexico goals. Offside trap worked well. Couple chances where our striker all alone in front of keeper with poor finish, don't blame them they did a very good job. At the end 89-90 minutes looked like ages and very scary but we survived. Some very good saves by our keeper well done. Hooper should have enter the field at the 80 minute, I don't know why he didn't??
BTW I had a very good feeling for this game and tactic I made, that we might beat Mexico and we did indeed.

Next game Israel, sound an easy game but believe me it is not. They lose only one game to Portugal.

Congratulations

good game. indeed the defence was a bit sloppy on canada side, also when the winger of mexico had the ball your wingback had to run too long before he could tackle him, therefore he got dangerous a couple times. the keeper did a few good saves indeed, but looking at the major chances canada had, it was a deserved win, the other goalie made some great saves as well tho. keep it up

That was a great game! Very exciting to watch, Ibn Osman made some great saves in the 2nd half, I thought it was a deserved win in the end as well

Sorry guys I am trying my best with the players we have but they are just not even close to other teams strenght. We have been outplayed everywhere, I don't think the tactic was anything but good. Israel keeper was just outstanding, this said everything:

Nadav Shina, age: 21
club: maccabi all-stars, country: Israel
value: 5 211 600 C$, wage: 61 560 C$
incredible form, formidable tactical discipline

And they have even more players like this in every position like this one and he is only 19 years old and didn't even play today. It would be in my first team tho. I can't find 21 years old Canadian with this skills, well we have 2-3 maybe better, 21 years old but thats all. The lack of depth is a big problem for Canada always been and is not getting any better

Efi Pralija, age 19
value: 2 344 499 ₪
wage: 21 300 ₪
incredible form

formidable stamina tragic keeper
very good pace outstanding defender
good technique solid playmaker
formidable passing weak striker

Well I kinda knew all this before the election, not that we are so deep. Anyway it can only be better in the future.
Thank you all for the support, keep it up we all need to work together.

You are doing a good job don't give up.
2009-03-27 21:05:44
it was a good match and you are good trainer.
our keeper is divine.
and can i ask you a question>?
how do u know Efi Pralija skills?
and i think that your striker are better than us.

sorry about my English.
2009-03-28 01:18:53
Striker are maybe better but against divine keeper they need lots of luck or lots of shots. On the other hand you don't need such a good striker against our weak keeper. 2 of 4 Israel goals were 1 on 1 where our keeper has been tackled and ball went in the net.

I got Pralija skills searchings forums. Is it true you have even better 19 years old players?
2009-03-28 11:53:15
no :)
he the best of us + -

Another strong opponent Serbia currently #2 on standings.

Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia (Serbian: Република Србија, Republika Srbija), is a country in Central- and Southeastern Europe, covering the southern part of the Pannonian Plain and the central part of the Balkans. Serbia is bordered by Hungary to the north; Romania and Bulgaria to the east; the Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the south; and Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to the west. The country's capital, Belgrade, was titled "City of the Future of South Europe" in 2006. Although landlocked, Serbia has 2,000 km of navigable waterways on the Danube, Sava, Tisza and their respective canals.
The current borders of the country were established after World War II, when Serbia became a federal unit within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 1990s, Serbia once again became an independent state in 2006, following the Montenegrin independence referendum.

The Sport in Serbia revolves mostly around team sports: football, basketball, water polo, volleyball, handball, and, more recently, tennis. The two main football clubs in Serbia are Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan, both from capital Belgrade. Red Star is the only Serbian and former Yugoslav club that has won a UEFA competition, winning the 1991 European Cup in Bari, Italy. The same year in Tokyo, Japan, the club won the Intercontinental Cup. Partizan is the first club from Serbia to take part in the UEFA Champions League group stages subsequent to the breakup of the Former Yugoslavia. The matches between two rival clubs are known as "Eternal Derby" (Serbian: Вечити дерби, Večiti derbi).
On 24 April 1991, Red Star Belgrade and Bayern Munich contested a European Champions Cup semifinal tie. Since Red Star held a 2-1 advantage from the away game in Munich, atmosphere before the home leg at Marakana was electric as fans could almost taste the big European final for the first time in club history. Naturally, the stadium was packed with about 100,000 people and when Siniša Mihajlović scored a trade mark free-kick goal for 1-0 on the night, progression to the big final seemed a foregone conclusion. But, in true German football style, Bayern came back with two quick second half goals to level the aggregate score. Finally, deep into injury time when the game seemed destined for extra period, a harmless looking Mihajlović cross into the box got deflected upwards by defender Klaus Augenthaler and subsequently misjudged by Bayern goalie Raimond Aumann - 2:2 on the night and Red Star goes through. The final whistle sparked off a huge celebration inside the stadium as well as a massive celebratory pitch invasion.

The Red Star Stadium (Serbian: Стадион Црвена Звезда/Stadion Crvena Zvezda), colloquially known as Marakana after the famous Brazilian stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Belgrade, Serbia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Red Star Belgrade. The stadium is all-seated and the capacity is 54,000. It was opened in 1963 after construction which had started three years earlier.
