Unlucky against Denmark this week. That could have gone either way. I thought that we fielded a nice team. You are going a good job in scouting and tracking our young players.
Canada u21 plays against usa u21 tonight. It is just like a rematch of the junior hockey final! Go Canada!

Ok guys this is the Official Thread for The Queens English Tournament (until somebody decides on a better name). The following teams are competing for the huge first prize of PRIDE!!!!!
Please note the numbers do NOT denote seedings....for obvious reasons. ;)

with following rules:
- all games should be arranged by midnight on Monday night unless there is a special circumstance. When the game is set, please notify in the topic from the tournament. If not, it's a 5-0 victory to the country whose coach posted in the topic before the deadline.
- all games are U21, unless both coaches agree on a something special (like U20, u21 trained in the country, B squad, ...) and confirm in the topic on sokker england. This is to avoid any discussions afterwards.
- Matches can be played on any pitch. It's up to the coaches to decide.

It was a close fought game, start to finish. And it took overtime and penalties to decide the winner.

Congratulations. That is a big win. Who is this Ribiero fellow, the attacking midfielder for Canada?
Wow, I looked back at my notes and you are right, Ribeiro was my junior. I had him when he was 17, average stamina and pace, unsatisfactory tech, very good passing and playmaking, tragic defence and inadequate striker. His talent was 4.2.
Grats on a fine result. :) Good defensive scheme given what Chile played, and attacking the middle worked well at the other end. Bateman was a bit of a stand-out for me - thought he did a good job marking the Chilean winger.
This week we play with England,we'r very weak with strikers
