I was joking about the $2M! I put him on the Valuation Forum. He was rated at 1M to 1.5M ($Can). I don't think he'll go for much more than $1M. But..I could be pleasantly surprized I guess.

I have seen players with talent 3 so it is possible for sure.

A lot of people said that on sokker international but none of them had proof, or they had proof from Apollo or SO which can be tricky, because if you don't log in one week it's gonna skip that week, so it's gonna show 3 week jump instead of four, nobody with a plus screen was able to show it

If you take a long period of time (say 20 weeks) and you have 6 jumps from the second jump that player has a talent better than 4. I don't have PLUS, then I can not checked with those ones but I think I haven't skip updates (I can check the dates in the data file) and I have 2 players with talent better than 4.
Caron had talent 4 with a formidable-outstanding coach, how much his talent should be with a magical coach (I use to check manually every week and kept the data in excel and I didn't skip any update).

I think I read somewhere that the best recorded talent is 3.111111 (with unearthly coach) or something like that.....

I found some data...on sept 24, 2008 wed just before training, he was very good with 19 weeks left.

Bit of a bummer to have a magical youth as a keeper, but at least he's clearly defined. Nice pull. :) Good luck with him (sale or train).

I have two players in my squad who came up at 3.0, (Ruini and Croft). And, like yosarian, I have several players less than 4 in my YS, (currently 4 guys at 3.33, 3.50, 3.66 and 3.66 over the next 15 weeks).

Have you never had a trainee with less than 4 weeks talent? If so, maybe you should be complaining to someone in Warsaw! :)

The 3.11 would apply if the player popped 8 times at 3 weeks and once at 4 weeks. (This would give 28/9 = 3 + 1/9). Skip the one pop at 4 and you have your 3.0!

depends on length of time. The longer they stay the less likely they're going to have a talent of exactly 3. Quite possible to have a talent of 3 if they're only there for 6-7 weeks popping 2 times. I wouldn't discount the possibility of having a talent of 3 for a much longer time but I would imagine it would be pretty rare for long periods of time. Those in shorter distances who have talent 3, might not have talent 3 but might have 3.2 or something but haven't been in the youth school long enough to show their true talent.

That's why talent will always be an estimate for my liking whether you have plus graphs or not :).
