Seca [del] to All
Greetings. :)

I'm Seca and I'm looking for another opportunity to steer the ship. I've had the chance before, but it's been a number of seasons.

I have a great deal of experience both as a club manager and an International manager. The past two seasons I've managed South Africa's side. The team performed well, hanging in a very tough qualifying group until the very end.

I took the advice of some fellow Canadians and dismantled my club team this past season - so I hope you don't allow VFC's struggles to reflect on my skill. With no time invested in my club, I have a great deal of time and energy to devote to the NT's cause.

I'm happy to field relevent questions, and appreciate any support I receive. :)

Greetings!

What age of players are you looking for for the NT? Is 32 too old? Is 24 too young?
Is there any "experience" advantage to playing young players? (or is that hattrick?)

I try to play every NT match to win. If the level of competition allows the use of younger players, then that is beneficial (they get a wee training perk). If the level of competition is high, then age isn't a consideration.

Experience is a component of tactical discipline, though I generally don't worry too much about TD (really only a consideration for defenders IMO). Giving younger players caps will bring their experience up a little faster, but it comes up pretty fast anyway. Again, use them when possible without jeopardizing the result.

"Seca, your campaign has the momentum of a runaway train. Why are you so popular?".

Thanks for the support all. :) No rest for the newly elected, as we head straight into a WC qualifier this weekend against Wales.

Tho this past season started very well, it finished poorly with the team performing below expectations for an extended period. As a result, we missed qualifying and the season as a whole disappointing.

As the coach, I take responsibilty and would understand if you wish to go a different direction at this point. I do, however, throw my hat back into the ring. I would very much like to lead the team in the Mini World Cup tournament, and to try to strengthen it's overall ranking moving forward.

So if you see fit to give me another chance, I would appeciate your support.
