Subject: Changes on the youth system

I train Canadians only and I have been for long time all Canadian (I bought non Canadians to avoid spoiling Canadians that could still received training). I think if there is a rule to make non foreign players more expensive to the club is going to hurt us more than most countries because we don't have quantity of good players.

We have the same amount per club, probably more per country. I doubt that forcing teams to have at least 3 domestic players on their lineup would effect very many managers at all. And the real point is that we should be making those players. Right now I have Fichaud, Villa, Macharski, Ellison, Vafir, Touchette, Kasim, Boissieres all from my youth academy in my starting 11. I should get some kind of reward for that effort, because I could have sold them all at 23 and made huge amounts of money and had a much better team of imports if I hadn't kept them.

Anyways, even the EPL is adding this in RL, so I don't see why it would be so strange to have it in sokker.

I agree with yosarian, an import tax would only benefit Poland even more...

why, yes they have a gazillion players, but they also have a gazillion teams competing for those players

That's true. And if it only 3-5 players in the lineup that should be easy (I though you wanted 11 local players).
I am already training 10 Canadian (8 from my youth system) and I can field 6 Canadians every game and I think that is the way to go.
