I have 2 fairly young goalies which i have been using, one is 22 and the other is 21. and they have formidable and very good keeper stats respectively. from what i ave gathered, the first one had a talent of 5 and spent 23 weeks in the school and the second, 21 year old, keeper i think has decent talent from outside of junior school since he was only in the school for 3 weeks. now with the new information i have on my junior school i have 2 apparent keepers coming out soon, one with a talent of 3.8 so far and the other with a talent of 4.5. now if they are worth training (one is 18 and the other is 17). I was thinking of possibly training the keepers i have for another couple weeks until the others come out (or wait till they do and then start) and do some keeper training. I know its not the most profitable area to train, but i was wondering if there was a need for keepers on either national team or U21 team for some keepers?
IIRC we have two Canadians training GK (myself and ... some other guy). The last time this discussion came up in the forums, I think we decided that two was about the right number for a nation our size. A third probably wouldn't hurt, but there are other areas where Canada as a nation needs training as well! I cringe at how slow our U21 team is, for instance, and wonder if we have anybody training pace at all these days.
Your two present keepers are nowhere near NT calibre, even with training. Your two juniors are a different story, especially the higher talent one. I have the space for one of them myself. The other could well find a home overseas. It's your call, but do it for your own sake, not Canada's.

I have Ellison, he is being trained to around brilliant keeper and max pace, so he won't be a top NT starter, but I think Lovely's guys have the main jobs with the NT locked up for a while once Madden drops off
I am training tech, PM, Passing and pace every season. I hope everyone that is training Canadians trains a little of pace with the main skills.
I'm training this guy :))

Wow! very nice. Caraiman and Leopold up front for Canada looks good for many seasons. I see that you have a bid in on Maycoll Johnston - he could benefit from similar training.
While we are all sharing....Real Hawkes has just finished pace training and will put in a few weeks of passing and then playmaking before we put a season, or more into defender training. Moreau and Sankar are my best Canadian trainees.

I am selling a bunch of trainees right now, some have good potential, but I am clearing the decks for the arrival of Satinder Sean, the next Canadian superstar :-)
I think that they all have potential if the land with the right kind of trainer. I am training keeper to get the Razor up to a decent level, then pace, pace, pace with little bumps of whatever will make Sean into a useful player for me :)
Parise - passing and pm, maybe a bit of striker
Lajeunesse - pm, passing, tech
Justice - defender trainee, could be U-21 with a couple of pops?
Fauteaux - think he would be best as a defender trainee
Klukowski - another defender trainee
(edited)
