Subject: Junior League walkovers

This properly belongs in the Junior League III forum, but apparently nobody of note is reading that. So, it's here instead.

Today I got my second walkover in Junior League. These did not come from ill-informed rookie teams; last week's was over Valiant FC, and this week's was from Ben's Eleven. And next week I'm scheduled against FC Lanciers, who also failed to field a lineup this week, at which point (if Sarakis forfeits again) I shall have got one week's data from a month of participation.

Seca, Hilversum, anybody else who has given up a walkover in the juniors: If you can't be bothered to make orders for your junior squad, do the rest of us a favour and withdraw from the league. I can't learn diddly about my juniors if I don't get to watch them on the field. Frankly, I expected better from players of your calibre. (Yes, I am somewhat annoyed...)

yep, I think that teams should get booted automatically for this, it's not like it's hard to set orders for these games, just pick em in order if you have to guys!

I totally agree with Lovely and Deja here. It was my first walkover game this week and I was disappointed because I had spent a little time to set my lineup and follow the players performance from previous weeks.

Sarakis is the first time and he write me to apologize. Seems that he set the lineup before but when the admins erased the next games he lost the next lineup and he didn't reenter because he didn't know he should. Or something like that.

I am really sorry. I thought I set my players. I did my previous 2 matches. Don't know what happened. I am 80% sure i set my lineup though.

and wow. forgot to set my lineup once in the 4.5 years i'm playing this game.

The administration has apparently brought in a rule for walkovers. It is in the rules

If a junior team gives walkover two weeks in a row, it will be removed from the junior league.

Maybe that is why we are down to 38 teams now.
