The Real Hawkes surpassed all preseason predictions, by finishing 3 in the CPL this season. With our young team...the future looks bright.
I am happy.
I am happy.
Delighted with my season. My goal for my first League II season was to finish 5th or 6th so that my relegation match would be easy. I have now comfortably clinched third. Also, I managed a draw against Snowhares last Wednesday. Granted, it was against his second XI, but I'll take what I can get.
Graduating Ahmed Hume from my junior school was also a highlight, although sadly I couldn't keep him in Canada. I spent the proceeds on a magical junior coach, hoping for more and better Humes to come. The only real disappointment with my season is that I've been racking up a lot of injuries, averaging more than one per match recently! But no complaints, I'm getting by.
Next season's goal is to not lose too much ground after selling my unearthly GK this week and starting afresh with two promising-looking trainees, a 16-year-old Israeli and a 17-year-old Canadian.

I had a tough start to the season but came out on top. (3rd place finish last season)
12-1-1 record, +60 goal difference
I now have a complete team, balanced attack, mid and def.
still training youth and recently bought some more youth players, most squad members under the age of 23 but finally have players with value over 500k and 600k
now with a promotion match against Dinoco AC (bot), promotion looks good :)
not bad after my third season with sokker...

hehe that wasn't even in the league lovely....it was a friendly game (;
i'll be happy if the hares can finally win a quali match but i know it's not going to be an easy one....

I finished 4th in my first season in the CPL, and avoided the playoffs.....very happy with that. In my last game against Lanciers 2 of my starting strikers got injured with a 25 and a 23 day injury lol. I guess it couldn't have happened at a better time :))
Tsyndicate had worst season since inception.
Owner got upset and is trying to unload most of the older players at a price.

THe Real Hawkes team had a disappointing CPL season. There were too many close losses that could have easily have turned into wins. I should probably work more on game tactics. But instead, I think that I will blame the players who had poor form and injuries and just hope for a qualification win and a better next season:)
Highlights were the addition of young Canadian defenders, Sankar and Capobianco to the lineup.
Early next season a few young star players will have to move on to improve the team finances and give training spots to the younger prospects.

Horrible horrible finishing 2nd last. Never in the history of Tsyndicate have finished worse than 4th since taking over ownership. .....But rebuild is complete with decent looking youth. Average age of starters will be around 21 next year.
Also on positive note team finished last few matches strong.
46.7 average mark not bad for the youth.
Good luck everyone.

When the season started I was hoping to avoid direct relegation.
After several purchases I wanted to finish on the first 4 spots.
Finally I got the second position on the CPL and I am really happy with this season performance.
Now I am going to have to sell some of the players and see what happen next season.

In my first full season i finished 2nd in the league. With the winner moving up, I should be able to easily win the league next season and hopefully be promoted.
my team kamloops lakers won the series finally, but did not auto promote.
drew 1 and lost 1 during the season which was pleasing.
i have neglected lots of things with this game, tactics, holding on to old players, etc
will be looking next season to improve my management of the team, it may make things worse though ;)
i play Real Hawkes who always trounce my team, so a miracle and or a mystery illness in their camp is my only hope of going up...lol.

Last season was a humbling one for my club. A dissapointing loss in penalties in Champions Cup and some inconsistent league play had me finish in third for the first time in many seasons. The bright spot was our first Voyaguer Cup win in at least 10 seasons. Another bright spot was being able to contribute a gk and four young defenders (Follmer, Sean, Matthews and Gant) to the U-21 program, while also earning qualification to the jCPL.
The once unlockable defence is starting to falter a bit, and youngsters Sean and Follmer are still at least a season or two away from being able to contribute meaningful minutes to the starting 11. So I think I will have to sell off some of the youths that I have been stockpiling and buy a high quality young defender and possibly shore up the midfield a bit more as well. Expect a few more imports to arrive at the teams new home - McGill Field in Montreal!

That field isnt regulation for soccer. The only game played there was the Zinedin Zidane alstar game last year. Expect a protest if the Hawkes have to play there. Cough up the big bucks and play at Saputo Stadium.
Saputo sucks, mostly because of location. I can see McGill from my balcony, we`ve renovated it, it`s regulation now :)
McGill is regulation for pointy ball football, not for football association games above college level.
Saputo is a good soccer stadium, the best this side of Toronto. The location would be great if they would tear down the Olympic stadium and put those hectares to good use.

it's not the end of the season but...:)

my only fear was getting a good team relegated to my league but its a bot team now, so, after narrowly beating it after playing all my trainees in the first half of the match i have proceeded to absolutely destroy one of the crappy(although still one of the better ones in my league lol) bots and i will be promoting this season to a league II, where i will get completely and horribly beaten because i have no good midfielders and my team sucks :P
