Choquet sold. New trainer plans to put some striking on him.

It seems I have been successful in my re-election bid. Thanks everyone for your support. :)

I will be looking for player updates the next few days. Feel free to send an update before I ask.

As I stated during the campaign, I intend for this to be my final season. I am not retiring because I am weary of the job - I still very much enjoy it. I am stepping aside to allow other managers the opportunity. I am hopeful a (or multiple) Canadian manager(s) will step forward.

If you think that might be you, there are a couple of things (IMHO) you should be doing:

Invest in the team
- watch the games, make little posts (ie., "good game" or "nice pass by Iginla") to the game threads so others know you are watching
- train Canadian
- ask me for a job

Invest in yourself
- make use of your friendlies to experiment with tactics and player usage. Develop a "portfolio" of formations so we can see what you can do.

Cheers.

I myself am a little disappointed at the low turnout. But I am flabbergasted as to how a foreigner got a vote.

One knock on the weeked - O'Hara out for 2 weeks. Back in time for the WC.

The World Cup draw is quite silly. I'm quite disappointed :(

Not the worst draw, but some variety would have been nice. :) I'm actually quite envious of England's draw in group C.

France is the new challenge. Over 10X as many users as us. :S They had a few poor outings during qualifying, and their ranking slipped. Still a very strong squad. We've met once before under my tenure - a 1-1 draw.

We are supposed to play Turkey in a friendly this weekend, but they elected a new manger. He's under no obligation to honour the arrangement, so we may be searching for a game.

England will be our friendly opponent December 9.
Edit: England game is U21.

After challenging Turkey, I sent the new Turkish manager 2 Sokker mails about the game asking him to accept the challenge or respond. Both times he read the message and did neither, so I have arranged a match with New Zealand for this weekend.

As far as i know he doesn't know english. :) Probably he's looking for someone to get it translated.

Thanks for the update

It's not a problem - both teams have games. Was just trying to explain the situation. :) Its always tough when coaches change.

Not really the appropriate thread, but my club reached a milestone of sorts today - Amado passed 1 million value (in C$). Kinda cool. :)

Musa might be there too if it wasn't for his blasted form. Anyone know a good trick it boosting it back up?

On a related note, Lamo has popped in pace :)

Apocalypse officially a bot.

Will be some time before the riders get released tho (will take a few seasons to get that squad down to III).

Atkinson
Craig

Another group will be removed after I receive player updates (hopefully I will get the updates this week).
