Renda was injured by another national team member, Kareem Laforest. I think he was feeling threatened that Renda was going to take his place on the national squad.

Don't fine him! That's the way we want our NT DMs to tackle. :)

Raymond Chretien (GK) released from NT.

Don't see the need for 5 U21 keepers. :) His form prevents his consideration in the near future, and it's doubtful he will keep up with Madden and Chouinard in the long run.

Injuries to Amado and Fortner. Both fairly brief, but Fortner's will rule him out of the USA game.

The US did not suffer any injuries to their U21 squad. :)

Edit: It was another NT-NT challenge that knocked Amado out - this time Villaneuva was the butcher. Starting to think there are some "issues" in the NT clubhouse. ;)

Manohar is fit again finaly.

Our U21 form is quietly eroding. Only a few in real lousy form (Faria, Renda) but many other have shed 5 or so levels recently (Aceves, Alcia, Choquet). Wang has been particularly frustrating - he ticks up 1-2 levels on Monday, just to give it all back (& sometimes more) on Thursday. :S

On a brighter note, Karl Dehere is on the verge of being Canada's first 20 year old (non-keeper) with a value over 1 million C$. :) He's got 1 more week to set the mark.

There is a striker on the TL with an outside chance at the NT. He would need alot of improvement in both tech and pace (both would need to be excellent at a minimum before he would be considered for the senior team).

I'm guessing it'll take 3 seasons to get his pace & tech up to excellent. By then, magical - excellent - excellent may not get you on our NT. (It would today, but not as a starter).

Once this U21 wraps up, we'll run our cap-starved senior squad out a few times.

Saw lots of Canadian interest in Lajeunesse, but in the end he's off to Romania to what appears to be a pace trainer.

Yves Alcia and Jeff Sahota (U21 keepers) released from NT.

Nugent's team lost their Q-match. If the team does go bot (been over a month since last login), he could be released fairly quickly. Not much of a prospect anymore tho.

Choquet's team finished 3rd. Will be at least another season before that team could be replaced.

Meh. I'm a knob. I didn't realise Australia was large enough to have four divisions. Nugent won't be released anytime in the foreseeable future.

Hadn't really been watching the form of the senior squad. Some notables have come off a fair bit since the WC ended. Hopefully they blip up again before qualifications.
