Meh. I'm a knob. I didn't realise Australia was large enough to have four divisions. Nugent won't be released anytime in the foreseeable future.

Hadn't really been watching the form of the senior squad. Some notables have come off a fair bit since the WC ended. Hopefully they blip up again before qualifications.

Vinnie is on the TL. He' been getting technique training (a surprise to me) so looks a little more playable. Will be tough for him to displace Iginla or Klukowski for caps.

Vinnie sold for a decent price. Market may be picking up, and the new-season money is still a couple days off.

I had drawn some attention to Karl Dehere, thinking he might be our first 20 year old non-keeper to make 1 million C$ in value. He didn't make it (981600).

Control your disappointment! As we do have our first 19 year old non-keeper with more then 1 million C$.

We need more manager coming from FK (that way you are going to have complete players)

Definitely a stronger multi-skill player environment then HT. :)

Qualification groups should be drawn tomorrow. Will be curious to see how they organize the groups - there was a fair bit of feedback about the unbalanced (some with 5, some with 6) groups last time. Now that there are now 72 teams to accomodate, seems certain things will look different.

12 groups of 6 may be a possibility, but would mean not all 3rd place teams qualify.

Do you know anything about him, with this value he must be wort something? But like I see his best mark as ATT is 36?

Amin and his two contemporaries (the recently sold Trenton Lajeunesse and Wyn Lavrynenko) have been on my watch list for a while, and there is data on them in the NT file. I have discussed their training progress with Illuce within the last month.

Can't disclose much more then that. :) But you can make some inferences from their marks and the fact they are not (currently) on the NT.

With Amado and Giacomi out next week, I happened to look at the Riders' form. Sheeesh. The best of them is at good. :S

It continues to be a concern that 4 of our 7 best strikers have been "dead" to training for 3/4 of a season or longer. Some nice youngsters coming along, but it's a significant step down yet.

Nugent has been TL'd. Could be a serviceable player, but his NT future is questionable.

Nice drawn indeed and it looks an easy one. We play Hrvatska first and I think it could not be better to play the 1st seed as first game as NT. Whatever the score but we gonna see other manager in action and their tactics. Moldova, Nippon and India are the easy ones as we heading at position 2.

Another N-teamer on the TL. Lamo's been a useful defender for the squad, and provides depth, tho the next generation is eating into his caps.
