Giacomi and Wagenaar injured today in league games, luckily only 13 and 18 days so they will be available for NZ.

This weekend is reserved for friendly matches and so Canada has arranged a friendly against Portugal. It’s going to be a U-23 match. Canada plays Portugal twice already in friendlies, one draw and one win. Anyway it’s not going to be easy. They are behind us on the ranking list but have over 600 users and a nice squad.

U23 is kind of an odd restriction. Was that your idea or theirs?

It was his idea. I asked for U-21 but he wanted U-23. Why do you think is an odd restriction? I am still gonna save q players for the crush with the NZ boys. It's very important match for both of us, high expectation on both side.

Struck me as an odd restriction because it doesn't rule out all that many players. Not a problem, just different. :)

This saturday we are up against Portugal in a friendly game. Those are the players who are going to get action and hopefully a good game and result.

Sebastian Fichaud is out for 16 days won't be available for NZ. BTW NZ has couple more problems with injuries.

I wanted to try some new players and positions for our youth squad so it's not that I cut him out. He is more for our regular squad with some better form.

Adam Ortega Santiago got injured today and won't be available for next two games. He isn't been planed for the game against NZ. There is another U-21 SI, Luciani.
