Sorry. I should leave the stats to you. I thought the shooting percentages were interesting. :)

Addition to the team: DM - Derek Barrera, age 21, Team: HL Football and a striker Wyn Lavrynenko, age 20, Team: FC Universitatea Cluj. With those two new additions I am gonna try to give a debut for one of them. They have been added most because our U-21 games but I thought I might give them a chance in some serious games to see what are they capable. This is what I thought; Wyn Lavrynenko on Wang position and Barrera second half replace Canizalez. Any toughts or advices??

If you are gonna play senior I think that Caron is more ready (but playing as winger).
If you need to replace a DM in the second time Barrera should be fine, and the minutes with the NT are going to help him.

IMO Barrera does not have enough tackling to play DM. Nice central midfielder tho. :)

Not sure why Caron has been cap-less this season. Perhap his form has scared Slavko off - thought he was a rising star.

@ Slavko - My players have lots of caps - if you want to use Lavrynenko instead of Wang, go right ahead. Might bother Scottie, but it won't bother me.

Caron is playing this time as a winger, this is what you might not know Seca but I notified yosarian about it.
Barrera is gonna enter second half but not at the DM position tho, you got it Seca as CM.
Lavrynenko is gonna play instead of Wang.

Sorry, I didn't see Caron playing.

How much def, Barrera has to have to be DM?

(IMHO) Brilliant - magical at the NT level. If your opponent is rubbish, you can get away with a little less.

Brilliant - magical? I think he is not going to be a NT MD never. To have brilliant in defense I would have to train defenders.

I would say incredible is good enough for DM.

There is a line of thought that suggests DMs actually need more defending then defenders. The thinking is that defenders do the majority of their tackles head on, while DMs have a much higher percentage of tackles from the side or behind.

Of course it depends alot on the tactic, and the opponent. :)

Thanks Seca. Is good to know. I was thinking in a DM more in the FK sense, but what you are saying make sense.

Might be useful for this weekend friendly game vs Belarus. It is U-21 game but since he don't have enough youngsters we both gonna use some exp. players.

What kind of youngsters is the u-21 team looking for? My players arent there yet, but, what type of player should I be trying to create - a player that might play on the NT one day?
