Interesting. :) You've definitely taken the team a different direction (which is what we all wanted with a new manager).
Valiant is very pleased that Scottie Wang is tied as the top scorer - especially considering he's had just 2 relief outings, and has only played ~70 minutes.
One of the biggest surprises for me is that Olaf Lavrynenko is yet to play this season. At the end of last season I thought he was quite possibly our best all-round midfielder. Then again, my view point may be skewed by those nightmares I have about him wearing Rover blue. :P

Re: Olaf; he's certainly been useful for me and could easily play every position on my team. I suppose at the National level that could be the problem, no freakish ability to leverage... just a whole bunch of excellent to formidable skills?
Both Laforest (Bucky) & Abbas Musa have popped in pace.

Hopefully he lands with a tech trainer. :)
Will be curious to see if the same team that bought his mates Amin and Lajeunesse shows up for Wyn.

Hope so too, he need tech training badly. Until excellent tech and pace I don't think I am gonna use him in any games, he is useless despite divine striker.
He'd be an ok sub for 15-20 minutes (depending on the level of competition). His stamina is so poor that after that, what pace and tech he does have dwindle to nothing.
Any guesses on the price? I'm thinking 2.5-3 million C$, but my estimates are usually low.
Edit: Amin and Lajeneuse both went 2 million, with much poorer secondaries. So I'm revising my guess up to 3.5-4 million.

Lorne - You have some potentials like: Daniel Stevenson and Jarome Garnett and I would love to see if they gained any skills lately. SK mail me plz.
OK tactics and players are set for this weekend friendly game vs Belarus. It's U-21 game with 4 older players since Belarus manager don't want to risk some younger players couse they play in his first team and we also have some holes to fill up with older ones.

am kinda sure he is going over 3 million.
Agreed. A season and a half of tech training should get him to outstanding-incredible. As a 22 year old in week 1 - he might be worth 7-8 million then. If a tech trainer could get him for 4 million, he'd likely be looking at doubling his money in 1.5 seasons. So 4 million might still be low.

One day to go and he is at: highest bid: 2 683 200 C$

DO you need him for the NT. I can train him in technique. (and I have the money)
Slavko may be able to answer whether he's "needed" or not.
He is a great prospect. And after the Choquet disaster, it is kinda of nice to keep those domestic.
Depending on his price, he's also a decent business proposition. A couple seasons of tech, then unload him to a pace trainer for big bucks.
The downside is that his secondaries really aren't that good ATM (bad for U21, let alone the main squad). Most NT managers (IMO) would prefer an incred/incred/incred to a divine/excellent/excellent. So I wouldn't expect him to get that many caps until he was 23-24 (obviously depends on the NT manager's preferences).
