deja checks his piggy bank....

damn... :|

I had seen you were looking for a keeper ... Parker is out there. ;)
2007-09-03 01:59:37
my bid is in

seems silly to pay 60 grand a week for a guy who is going to see 5 shots at most in a game

358815 Parker, Canada's nt keeper.
How much will he go for?
2007-09-03 02:01:11
5 million?
2007-09-03 02:01:19
Agreed. I kind of think "brilliant" keeping is close to optimal from a financial perspective.

Would be nice if Parker got a little more pace. I suspect his training days are coming to an end. :S

Parker changed his owner once again and now one of the B&O Mids Manny Broussard is on TL.

Rex Barry, age: 29

will be released from NT soon

Will do some clean up next week

Vincent Diplacido, age: 28
Kirk Fortner, age: 23
Mansor Hitschfeld, age: 26
Kareem Laforest, age: 27

Those are the lads most likely see leaving the NT squad. I don't know what to do with Dwayne Renda, age: 22, his form is not getting better in 2 season long.

I'd encourage you to leave Barry on the roster until the new season. If Apocalypse is relegated, he could be released fairly quickly. I realise Barry doesn't have much to offer the NT anymore, but he's such an icon I expect some Canadian teams would be thrilled to pick him up. :)

I'd be sad to see Laforest go, but given his age I can see why. His form isn't helping his case.

Unless something has gone wrong with Renda's training, I don't see any reason to drop him. He could snap out of his form funk anytime.

Maybe a season running all over Div 2 teams will help Renda's form. Seriously, he's been in terrible form ever since joining the CPL.

Just curious ... do we have any dedicated pace trainers with a bit of a bank roll?

Madden probably isn't too far off looking for a new home. He appears to be Parker's heir.

I found that we are playing group M

1. Lietuva
2. Canada
3. Österreich
4. Bosna i Hercegovina
5. Hellas
6. Bolivia

Anyone knows the level of the other teams?
2007-10-20 08:13:01
Lithuania has some nice forwards. The rest of their team is ok. Canada stands a good chance against them.

The other 4 teams are weak.
2007-10-20 15:48:47
I might in a couple of weeks but it will be a 50/50 split with defending & pace. Not sure if that will help. How much do you reckon Madden will land?
2007-10-20 18:00:56
Easy group for Canada

1. Lietuva #4
2. Canada #21
3. Österreich #34
4. Bosna i Hercegovina #48
5. Hellas #62
6. Bolivia #68

With a win vs Austria (3rd seed) easy other ones are even more easy :)
Canada beat Bolivia this past season 10-0.
Good luck Seca even tho you wont need any luck, I am sure you will go for the top of the group where you might need a bit of luck :)
I am gonna try to not play the first squad next weekend vs Israel so you gonna have all available for the Lietuva.

That would be appreciated. :)
