Domingo Lamo, NT defender, is transfer listed (tho I strongly recommend reading his season summary before bidding).

The Unofficial U21 World Cup is being organized again.

Looking for input to see if people want to enter (maybe I'll poll). The last time we chose to enter the Copa America instead. I'm not sure it will go this time. The manager that organized it last time is no longer associated with NTs. There was also a fair bit of silliness towards the end of it.

Our U21 does not look as strong as last season. We will have a crack midfield, but (with no offense intended to our players) our strikers and defense are weaker, and we still don't have an NT caliber U21 keeper.

But it might be fun anyway. Even if it goes badly, it won't damage our ranking too much.

I would like to play the U21.

If this were a poll question, then my vote would be to not join the u21 tourney. I would like to see the senior team and especially the up and coming players - of all ages, play more games.

I appreciate what you're saying. In the long run, the little extra training bonus is best given to the impact players so long as they are training effectively.

If we don't play in the U21 and aren't able to join another regional tournament, then it may be difficult getting decent friendlies. It adds a little interest to be in some sort of play down.

Methinks a proper poll is in order.

Malcolm Malhotra with a significant knock today. Rules him out of the Germany match. There had been a strong chance of him participating.

Just 3 form updates before the World Cup begins. Not much time for some of our lads to round into shape.

Fichaud was one of our recent winners, blasting through half the form spectrum in no time. :)

& Abbas Musa is dropping :/

Amado's been "fluttering". There are a few players that are worrisome.

A few call-ups ahead of this weekend's U21 match.

Alexander Verville – Ben’s 11 youth (Czech Republic) - midfielder
Jérémie Sahota – Romanians youth (Spain) - defender
Dawson Maillet (HL Football) - midfielder

Another call-up:

Clayton Bellavance, Josavica

His value doesn't do him justice. He's a great prospect.

Time of the season for a few culls as well. Will look to drop these guys in about a week's time.

If you have one of these 22 year olds and plan to sell him, don't panic. Let me know before you list, and I'll re-add him so you are properly compensated.

Big gap from the U21s to the Senior team. More 22 year olds then usual are sticking this season. It's possible any of these guys could be recalled depending on how their training progresses.

Form
Some players whose form has taken them out of the picture for now. Form can take a long time to recover. Should they bounce back into shape, they could well be recalled.

Couple of knocks. Boissieres took a slight hit - hopefully that will heal up before this weekend. Iginla 8 days - back in time for Germany. :)

Nice to see Caron's form recovering in time for the World Cup. Omar had a good week too. A little worried about the defense, with guys like Dehere, Abbas Musa, Wagenaar, Villanueva & Mayard all stuck mid-spectrum.
