Through the week with no other significant injuries.

One of those 3 did decide he would like to play this weekend - Mayard with a nice climb in form. Giacomi also had a good week for form, but is still not in great shape.

Carl Abbas Musa and his 77 caps are on the TL.

Wyn Lavrynenko, striker, is on the TL.

He's badly in need of technique training. Limits his use.

His current owner wrote me and says he's received a good offer for him. Will be curious to see what that amount is. :D

I'm planning to take him.
My plan would be to get him to brilliant technique then switch for another 2 levels of pace before switching back to technique again.
It depends on his talent, but plan is to get him to 3x divine by the age of 26 if talented.

Good luck in your bidding. :) Not sure if you've thought through the "triple divine by 26". That's only 1.5 seasons out. Both his pace and tech have just popped. If you average 6 weeks per pace level (which would be really good considering his age and the slow down at high levels), you'd have to cover 6 levels of tech in ~8 weeks. :P

The current owner wrote back and said the offer received is 11.5 million Euros (just over 18 million Canadian). Pretty fair offer, but I wouldn't be surprised if he went a little more. The changes to the ME seem to have caused a number of managers to put more of a premium on striker skill.

The hope is that he will land somewhere where he gets consistent training.

Lets say as close to triple divine as possible :)

4 to incredible
5 to brilliant
6 to magical
6 to unearthly
7 to divine
= 2 seasons

pace (little less because of general training..)
5 to magical
8 to unearthly
9 to divine
= around 1,5 seasons

So it could be possible with 26 before he turns 27 and gets very untrainable...

We will see it if I can get him.
Will hopefully have a little bit more money ready.
I think your NT won't mind if he only reaches unearthly/unearthly/divine :P

He doesn't have very much general training in pace. 5 weeks to magical is a stretch. Your tech training expectations also strike me as very optimistic.

I used my experience with passing training of 23-25y old players for the technique exceptions.
5 weeks to magical is already calculated with the ~15 weeks general training he will get from me, but you are right most likely it will take him longer :/

Time will indeed tell. :) Having trained Wang and Amado through similar regions at similar ages, I do think your predictions are overly optimistic. I have been watching Lavrynenko progress, and haven't found his rate of evolution (to this point) to be extraordinary.

I'm not trying to nitpick. :) You are the second staff member this week whose made a casual "triple divine by XX" comment to me. I expect off-hand comments from the general population, but not from staff.

Un-Un-Div would certainly be nice and is reachable for Wyn. Triple Divine is (IMO) only marginally better (form is a greater concern then the extra levels). But the difference in training is likely 20-24 weeks, which is huge.

Amado is also on the TL. You have your pick of NT strikers ATM. :)
