Transfer ad for Vince Lemieux. Hard to say for sure, but he may have the most total skill ever on a Canadian player (if not yet, he likely will). Shame his PM was cranked so high, but still magnificent ... and getting magnificent-er.

Now he's training defender - i think he could become unaerthly next season. Then I'm going to train some technique and maybe pace. Vince is on a good way to become one of the best central mids in sokker (I hope:))

Thanks for the update. Good news for Canada. Lemieux struggled with form for seasons on end. His form has been much better this season.

Picked up Zanardi today - plan is to do the same thing for him as Sebrango. He was a much better deal. :)

Joe Parker on the TL. Seasons are slipping away ... he's almost 33. :) Still looks NT capable should his form come up.

WC Qualification groups are out. Canada in Group L.

Don't get me wrong. New Zealand has a very good side. It's just that their manager is a little weak. ;)

I hoped a better draw to be honest, did so much work to get us from the 38th to top 30 and now a season later we are already 28th. Much work, but not as much luck getting a better group. All teams are experienced and not easy at all. Suomi seems like a better team, but I think we both can surprise them, like I did yesterday. So who knows, maybe Suomi is the team who will finish third - although I highly doubt it:)

Made a variety of player moves the past couple of days. Most revolved around fielding an U24 side, and consisted of calling up former U21 players.

I did call up another senior middie. Connor Foster was a player I absolutely loved when I was last Canada manager. Seems he didn't endear himself to the managers after me. :) He looks useful, and will very likely get some playing time.

The roster will likely be more fluid then most are used to. Managers shouldn't be surprised to see their players added and removed from the roster (particularly U24 players). I had to drop Zanardi to get the U24s together (and was still a man short).

Lemieux poped in defener skill :)

Rudy Lapierre, 23 yr defender, is TL'd. He shouldn't have survived earlier culls - his skill set isn't quite there, and he will be dropped after the sale.

With some pace and improvement in midfield skills he could be recalled. But my feeling is that he is a little behind some of the other prospects his age.

Old Man Amado is also TL'd. His days on the NT are also short.

Kasem Szoka, 26 yr defender, is listed.

Training window is closing, could use a little more pace and midfield skills. At present he's "depth" at the backline, but with some aging guys ahead of him he could see more playing time.
