I think it works out to 3 players per user... someone needs to learn how to say no

some are clearly not right though, I saw a 30 yo $50,000 player on there!

Think most of them are from bot teams. Lots of BiH players hitting the TL as the teams are replaced.

Good idea really, but I agree with Deja that he could have been a wee bit more stringent with the selections. :)

"Oh really, 255 seems to be a nice number for a soccer team. Or perhaps an Infantry Battalion. "

--Nice one :)

Planned line-up for the US friendly.

Clemens, McGhee, Wagenaar, Mayard, Bradshaw, Lavrynenko, O'Hara, Klukowski, Ortega Santiago, Garvey, Giacomi.

Tancredi, Vezina, B. Laforest, Canizalez, Amado on the bench.

Forms casualties in italics. Would like to get Omar in too, but he's on two cards.

This would be a good weekend for the Mexico match. Maximiliano Bravo (was a freakishly good YP last season) is out injured. Looks like he will still be SI for our match.

fyi Seca:

Lamo has popped in defence...

I remember that kid. I think he was Excellent in three different skills.

The loss to the US was expected. It was essentially a B-squad for us up against their A-squad.

My condolences to Jalea of Scarberia. A very unfortunate injury to Mayard. I know you have some important matches coming up next week. My apologies. :(

I tend not to use all 3 subs in meaningful games (if I do, the 3rd one is very late). So don't worry about that 10 men situation happening in an important match.

Clemens played well. Thought Giacomi and Bradshaw looked decent. Garvey had space and time on a couple of occassions, but opted not to pull the trigger. :S Not sure what O'Hara was thinking much of the game.

Bleh. Form update, as usual, sucks.

Klukowski is crossing the event horizon for the black hole that is tragic form. :S

Omar seems inclined to join him.

Barry tumbled. Several others stagnating at an unspectacular level.

Maybe things will improve Thursday. :P

Not a bad form update today. Wagenaar made a nice jump (3 levels). Klukowski and Garvey attempting to crawl out of their holes.

Only real dissapointment was Barry who was down another 2 (4 levels on the week).

There was another addition to the NT this week. Trevor Lorian, a midfielder from, of all teams, Black & Oil. :)

Lorian is (IMO) best suited to the central midfield role. It is unlikely he will win many caps given the competition at this position (Omar, Diplacido, Gusberti) and his age.

Two injuries Sunday. Lorian (24 days) and Robinson (23 days). Neither was expected to play against NZ.

Decent form update - no miracles, but things didn't get any worse.

There is a possible team addition in the form 20 year old striker Stu Chen (a Snowhares youth product playing in Eesti). Still waiting to hear back from his owner.

This player is currently on the TL. He would need a TON of pace before he would be considered for the NT. He's the same age as Parker, so even with lots of pace training, the best he could ever be is our #2.

833160
highest bid: 584 000 C$ [gubyand]
End of bidding: 09.09.2006 16:03

Adrian Stalteri, age: 22
value: 1 796 400 C$, wage: 19 080 C$
club: STRZEGOM`76, country: Canada
excellent form

tragic stamina, magical keeper
hopeless pace, hopeless defender
hopeless technique, hopeless playmaker
solid passing, tragic striker

Heard back from Stu Chen's owner. It doesn't look like Stu is going to be able to help the team in the near future.

Great week form-wise. Lots headed towards the upper end of the spectrum, including Barry and Moreau. Several players at the low end look to be turning the corner (Klukowski, Omar, Garvey).

With any luck our form will continue on this trajectory, and some of the upcoming return legs won't be so tight. :)
