Congratulations to Partizan for clinching the Cup today. Bonavista put up a good fight backed by a stellar display by Tomalak and, who knows, we might have pulled off the huge upset had Lelewik not picked up the red card in the 89th minute to leave us shorthanded for the entire overtime period.
But ... the ME chose the best team in the end, and 'vista have to be satisfied with their first Silver in this competition.
Now the fun part. We get to play Partizan again for two consecutive league games! We get 'Cannavaro' Chines back from his red card sit out of the cup final, but Agliardi will now watch from the press box, and the bookies are already offering huge odds that BV will not score even a single goal on Sunday without their Italian ace striker!
