Hi.

After one season with you and Canada. I decided to try make some more.
We will not participate in WC, but we have some goals for next season.

- I'll try to fight for good result in mini WC (if organized - I think it will)

- Make some more ranking points to be 2nd seed for next WC qualifications.
Now we are at 33 spot, and there is only a little margin to 32. I belive we could capture it.
(we advance some place, and gain over 100 points in ranking this season)

- Next goal is to develop some more young players, and give them some chance to play, and gain NT experience.

How do you plan to win ranking points and at the same time give experience to younger players.
BTW, until now you have been playing mostly older players (although in same cases the difference in skill is only one or 2 levels in all the skills)

In important matches I used the best players independently of age. Two skills are sometimes key to victory in close matches.
In friendly matches I used younger. It's clear I can't play with 20-22y players. They are to weak and can't compete at international level against most teams.
I tried to give a chance to 23-26y players, they are now a backup, and should be 1st team in future.
Look at yor players for example. Gusberti, McMillan - are not as good as best players so far, but they got many minutes in second part od season. With a progress they could become my firts choice in near future.

The same with other U26 players like:
Tino Lemaître (24)
Amin Vandermollen (23)
Rudy Lapierre (25)
Tomasz Kang (23)

It was hard to use more, when we fought for qualification to the end.

Remember - better training, and updates - more young players to choose. It's important, and we don't have quality young players at every position unfortunatly..

Actually, MacMillan is as good as Caron and I remember seen friendly games where you play 28yo instead of 23-25 yo.

I agree, McMillan made big progress during last season. With this pace on training, he could become winger we need and we don't have - Caron is not good enough to play at highest NT level.

I used 28y players - that true. Saying "I will give young players an opportrunity to play", I'm not meaning "I will play only with young players".
When fighting for result we must mix old and young squad to keep good level.

Now, the players I used as young backup, are better than season ago - and sometimes they would be used in hardest games, and as "older players" in easy.

It's natural, here in sokker, the right way to change generartion is to do it fluently.

I hope, now you understand my choices.

Talking about MacMillan, he pop again in pace. Now he is better midfielder than Caron.
I am going to send you an update in a few minutes.

Now he's good winger - our best, but still not good enough to go past best defence.
With his skills he could play as inner as well - but we have some other inners and any top wingers - I hope you'll keep on training.

I will. I am planing to train more pace next season and I probably train tech, PM, pass as well.

I called Canada for miniWC.

So there is our primary goal - to make minimum 1/2 final :)

It's good feeling to be reelected - It means, you think I'm making good job here :)

But I see a bit lower turnout this time.
It's bad situation.

I hope I can find a way to attract more managers to support National Team :)
