Look at today's results. Upsets are very rare in the Voyageur's Cup. So, look for a final inbetween Valiant and Partizan; with 90% certainty. And expect Valiant to win.

that's why i like the idea of having a seperate cup for lower divisions

ex. div 1 and div 2 teams play in one cup and div 3 in another.
*this model would only be for canada

I only think this would be a good idea for smaller countries because of the domination of bigger clubs

The new supporter changes doesn't help either. Your almost forced to annihilate your weaker opponent to hold on to your supporters.
Also makes it harder to develop younger players in bsquad.

lol played 3 trainees and won 7:0 in a game which my supporters thought "Rival is respectable by your supporters, but they expect a win." That makes sense...

edit: not complaining this time though, probably gonna get alot of supporters for beating a bot :P

Heh. My next-round opponent and I both beat FC Barcelona (with slightly different misspellings) 0:11.

I am playing a squad full of new trainees. I hope I will beat the bot :)

lost 3-0 to the Real Hawkes but was only outshot 10 to 4 and realized i could charge twice as much as the base ticket prices and still get a full stadium :)

Lost 4-2 today to Snowhares and dropped out of the Voyageurs cup. Watch out for Verville and Tooten on that hares team! They are definitely Premiership quality; better than Premiership.

yes, I underestimated them too, its nice to see Verville in form, he has always been one of my favorites, I have asked rascal several times what it would take to make him part of my squad, but no luck yet :)

well the second red card in the 28th minute kinda helped, don't you think? having said that the real hawkes were thumping my squad around a fair bit (: to be honest i expected to lose even with the extra two men (i gave a good chuckle after kampa's goal!). i know we're in for another tough match the next round.

now it was nice to see verville pot a goal, he doesn't do that all too often (: and sorry deja i don't know if i want to part with verville.... but i suppose it will be better for the club to let him loose at some point...he isn't getting any younger.

The semi finals saw Snowhares come out strong and score early, but in the end HL had too much quality on their side and replied with 4 goals of their own. In the other game Jalea of Scarberia kept it tight, but Valiant is built from their defence and nothing was going to pass that way. The game ended 1-0. Next week, Valiant will come back with Vittek in attack, after being injured for a few weeks. Look for a close hard fought game.

A big congratulations to HL Football on this day when they defeated Valiant and the rest of teams in Canada to win the Voyageurs Cup. It was a tight game, but HL had the quality to beat the stingy Valiant defence, twice.
