How is your team doing now that we are half way through the season?

My team, Real Hawkes is having a great season to date. With essentially the same team as last season, we find ourselves in a strong second place, with only one loss. The ball is bouncing favourably, injuries are infrequent and we have been able to cope with the red cards. Last season a lot of games were lost by one goal and we finished 7th. This season, a lot of games have been won by one goal and first place is still possible!

In the Premier League, Partizan is having another strong season and sitting pretty in first place. While Valiant has lost interest somewhat, is logging in more and more infrequently and sliding down the table (slowly). HL Football may have the strongest team on paper, but they have struggled to string results together. Although, expect HL to be stronger in the second half of the season, now that they have the Voyageurs Cup in their pocket.

The Rainbow sniffers are dominating league III.07 as is to be expected in a legue full of bots. After a narrow 2:1 opener against a newly botted(thats not a word lol) team who were underestimated, the Sniffers destroyed the competition with three straight 11:0 wins. The last three games have seen almost exclusive trainees playing in league matches, producing two 4:0 wins and one 3:0 win in anticipation of the Sniffers' first match in the Sokker Amateur Teams Cup which started last week, but since the Sniffers' opponent wouldn't accept their challenge, they proceded straight to the next round. The Rainbow Sniffers now sit in one of the 4 top spots with a 7-0-0 record and a +45 GD. I am looking forward to being in league II next season so i can get pummeled :)

edit: last friendly match saw one of my 2 midfielders( i use a defender as the third :P) injured for 20 days, leaving an already weak midfield decimated.

To be a good team you need to invest team and effort in the tactics and I don't have time to do so and I don't want to put effor there. My goal in the game is to train MIDs players for the NT and I am having a relative success in that, but although I have some good players my team is not as good.
Saying that I have to say that I am happy with my first tittle ever (although I don't think I deserved it), and that I have to start puttin more effort in the Sunday games (for example last game I didn't set up properly and a defender play almost as winger and my second best ATT wasn't included)

I would like to avoid playing promotion but if I can't do so at least is one more opportunity for trainning. :D

wow...all season my sponsors were starting to steadily pay me more, a bit less than $1 000 gain per week, and then this week it dropped by $13 000..ughhh

edit:found out why...the only other decent team in my league(still a bot though) was taken over by a new player. a new player thats costing me $13 000 a week :(

same here; sponsors payed less, why does this happen?

must be because of the drop in ranking. Anyways, the team that took over the decent team won 9-0 somehow with bot tactics and no new players...must have some crazy luck, i only won 10-0 because my only actual mid got a 5th minute red :(

woohoo! 9 weeks into the season and the rainbow sniffers are out of the hole! if it wasn't for my sponsor money going down 13k i'd be making a weekly profit even without ticket money
