Subject: Where is my Mind to Ekstraklasa

Strus, Canada's national team coach, has successfully orchestrated promotion to the top league in Poland and the most competitive league in the world (of sokker). Congratulations.

yes he will play in Ekstraklasa without playing play-off match :> it was really lucky last round by struś (including results in all second polish leagues) but of course he deserves on congratulations :))

As I said in your guestbook.
It was probably the longest trip to highest country league in sokker history.
But I'm proud, I've done it without daytrading, and not by making the money, but thanks to good tactics.
Play in Ekstraklasa was one of my primary goal when I started to play in 2004 :)
I'm really happy to achieve it.

When talking about goals..

At start of ending season, I had 3 with NT of Canada:


1. Advance to 2nd pot for WC quals draw.
2. Win miniWC
3. Develope few young players to secure future of NT.


I achieved only one of it fully.
We're at 31st place in the World Ranking, and should have good situation at the start of incoming WC qualifications.

We lost miniWC - unlucky in very strange game - but winning this trophy was in our sight...
As we must fight strong to secure place in first 32, I have not many possibilities to test young players.. Next season against low seeded teams in WC quals, should be better for it.


I hope despite not achieving all goals, you judge my work positive.

Now after making qualification easier is time to give a chance to someone new.
I don't know if someone from Canada community is going for election, but if you like working with polish managers, I introduce you Brokus. He's good tactican, and hard working manager (scouting, developing) with good international experience. Look at his results as coach of South Africa NT. I know him, and I know he's worth recomending.


Thanks for great seasons with all of you. I hope this is not the end of our friendship. I would like to stay in your community, and near Canada NT. I'm always ready to help, when is needed, and advice when it's wanted.

You did a great job with the NT, it's too bad you won't be running again. You did a gret job climbing the rankings for the next WC qualifiers, and you easily could have won the mini WC if it wasn't for that ridiculous ending (i have never seen another striker run behind his own defence, not to mention he got tackled by another striker who probably had very low defending....) Good luck in the Ekstraklasa!
