Good luck solli. Do you know the state of our team right now? Do we have a chance? And as a Canadian manager with an 18 yo prospect should I be focusing more on defending or passing/playmaking?

hi 1! ;)

Do you know the state of our team right now?

I think that Canada under 21 has become a really good team in these seasons! since I have started to follow the u21 I saw really good young coming out from the schools of several canadian users.

Do we have a chance?

I think that deathbymail showed us that with a good work and a big commitment all is possible!
if i have to be less romantic: Canada u21 has good MIDs (Francois, Heinze, pesznecker are the best 20y old; Wills, Cento, Barrera(?), Beckmann the future stars) and very good strikers (strikers like Reid and Howard could be the dreams of many coaches; good prospects are also Laclaire, Travis and Saint- Arnauld, very sad for Serioux)..
Defenders: :/ there is to work hard here!

And as a Canadian manager with an 18 yo prospect should I be focusing more on defending or passing/playmaking?

it depend on the skills of this prospect! if you post his skills here or in sk@mail i can express you my opinion! ;)

However, one thing is sure: if a youth at the end of 18y doesn't have sufficient defence (=< 7), i suggest to make him a wing! :)

No mention of Leclair? You're not getting my vote...:P

my mistake! :) you're absolutelly right! your Laclair is one of the Super 4 striker u20 in Canada! the matter of his esclusion from the list (that i'm going to edit) is that he is signed as wing in the DB :S
but now I've seen his skills and I can say that is a great prospect for the future! (and I don't say this for your vote..but because of his skills) ;)

i'm dumb! :)

but i was quite sure that there was when I wrote my answear to 1.. hallucinations for me! O.o

IF i'll be elected, is there someone who would like to help me in my work? (scouting or/and managing one or two initiative)

p.s. any other questions?

1. Italia U21
2. Norge U21
3. Malta U21
4. Canada U21
5. Crna Gora U21
6. Kenya U21

Tough draw with Italy...what do you think of the group?

ITALY (1st in world ranking)

what I can say? it is the best national team u21 in this moment.. strong in all its parts. It would be like a "derby" for me, and this challenge excite me! :)

NORGE (23th in the world ranking) / MALTA (38th in the W.R.)

these are the principals opponents of Canada in the run for the 2nd place. looking the values of the players of each team I can say that Canada, Norge and Malta are quite similar... only in defence there is a little gap. Tactic will do the difference.

CRNA GORA (77th in the W.R) / KENYA (86th in the W.R)

the matches in which Canada has to win.
