P74 has had a rough start to the new season, but we are still in a rebuilding phase, and cups or titles right now would be a bonus. There is more parity in the CPL than ever, and even with if Valiant emptied its legendary bank account they would be hard pressed to claim a title. It should be a good year, I will be happy to finish in the top four especially considering that I am already in injury difficulty!

That said, the rebuilding plans are going excellently. I have been pleasantly surprised to have once again landed some great talents on the TL, and a good cluster of others from my academy. It's shaping up to be the 'total football' club that I have been trying to make since day one!

The Rainbow Sniffers took a big step forward in their goal to make it to the CPL tonight as they defeated the newly relegated Lakers 2-0. Despite having 7 lower marks, the Sniffers outshot their opponents 11-7, and Valezquez redeemed himself for costing the Sniffers their last match when he bobbled 2 crosses that ended up in the net. The Welsh striker Nicholas potted 2 goals in his first appearance since starting for the Cymru U21 team, and Anngow fed him 2 beautiful low passes despite his constant low form.

The Rainbow Sniffers had a scare Sunday as they had to come back to beat slavia sk 2-1 despite having the shots heavily in their favour. With the win, the Sniffers sit on top of II.01

haha, instead of putting 1' player is slightly injured for my keeper, i put 'always' and just subbed him off in the first minute by accident :P

and, you still won.


Voyageur Cup this week and this is the first season that the Real Hawkes has gotten anywhere near to the final game. It would be nice to win. It will be a good game. If only my superstar striker, "Pres." Perez was in better form and fitness....

yeah I was kind of scared about that game...my second best mid was out, my best had a slight injury (and got a red at the 32nd) and then i accidentally subbed my keeper

This game is a load of bullshit. My team missed no less than 11 breakaways today, only scored on one, and at one point my winger shot from a shitty angle on a 3 on 0. Every time I play a weaker team I get absolutely screwed and it pisses me off...you'd think the devs would realize that it's easy to score on a 1v1, especially when you have plenty of time to think since you got the ball at half. Now my chances for promotion are alot lower because the ME decided to screw me over for the second time this season.

why did you change gk in 2nd min?:P

Well what would motivate you to train up or buy new strikers if you could just buy a kid with a value of a half million, I am guessing that they have something like outstanding scoring, and they finish like a divine?

Looks to me like it was a pretty even match and a deserving scoreline.

Pretty even if you just look at the shots. I just looked at the game again...here are some shot stats:

Rainbow Sniffers - 77's
16 - Shots - 10
11 - 1v1(Breakaway) shots - 2
4 - Shots from outside the box - 8

And it was 1:1. Out of all the shots from outside the box, only one was from a decent shooting area, and it was my opponent's, the rest all missed or were from so far out it was an easy save. So scoring chances were 12-3.

Last game I accidentally put 'always' sub the gk at 1' instead of 'if player is slightly injured', and this week on Thursday I was going away for the weekend and just used the same lineup as last week and forgot about it, so it happened again lol

lol exact same tactics and I won 6-1 even though my best striker got a red at the 16th and my other striker was a trainee.

By far the closest match I've played so far, I was probably lucky to come away with the draw with my best striker out and my second best in bad form. I would be happy with this result, except because of the two games that I drew when I should have won, my chances for promotion are pretty much gone unless another team manages to tie or beat the Lakers or I start scoring goals like crazy.
Looks like I won't have a chance for the Premier league for at least another season :(
