Subject: New Season Predictions and Hopes

Rainbow Sniffers 0:0 T Syndicated

By far the closest match I've played so far, I was probably lucky to come away with the draw with my best striker out and my second best in bad form. I would be happy with this result, except because of the two games that I drew when I should have won, my chances for promotion are pretty much gone unless another team manages to tie or beat the Lakers or I start scoring goals like crazy.
Looks like I won't have a chance for the Premier league for at least another season :(

Hawkes 6-5 Lanciers

What. That was the closest game my team has ever played. Shots were 12 each. The score see-sawed back and forth the whole game. I dont know if my team deserved to win, but I am happy that they did because now I have a good chance at winning the league.

I beat Lanciers last week in a close game as well, last minute heroics from Kasim and the finish by Vafir. That was a pretty big win for my team too, we had lost a string of matches to them, gotta give Sakaris credit, he has built a championship worthy team, its just a matter of time for them

My team seems to finally be coming together, but Vafir and Boissieres are such a presence up front and generate most of my teams offense on their own. How I am going to buffer their decline is still a bit up in the air, right now Aquiar is the only piece that I have.

Right now I am just hoping that one or two promising looking strikers from my youth program come out with high tech and scoring, that way my pace training next year and tech training the year after will be useful to them... or I will have to buy them

If this game has taught me one thing, it is patience :P

An interesting game indeed. Your wingmans were good threat all game long and the red card on my wing-back could not have happen in a worst time ;)

A well deserved victory I think, it was a great match to watch.

Oof, tonight was the second time I had to come behind against the same team that I should have beaten easily.
It all worked out though and that was my first match with marks over 50. My team has great form (my winger is over weak for the first time in a few seasons), and best of all, T Syndicated beat the Lakers tonight giving me a chance for the Premier League. If I had won the two games I tied when I should have won I would be in an amazing position, but I'll take this :)

It is not an easy game is it.
I feel for FC Lanciers tonight. They lost their third straight Premier League game - all by one goal and against the best opposition. It must be heartbreaking.

Being outshot 21-7, I'm pretty surprise by that 5-4 result, could have been worst! Top teams are pretty hard to beat and I think that NKDR fielded a good line-up to counter mine.

Rainbow Sniffers 7:0 Vandali

Leclair stepped up and outshone my Cymru U21 striker, Nicholas, netting 6 goals and an assist. A huge win with no red cards or injuries means my team is in top form for the 1st place duel with the Lakers next Sunday.
Leclair is shaping up to be a monster on attack and with some pace training he will be extremely well rounded.

Huge game tonight for me, if I win I pretty much guarantee a promotion match (although my keeper loves dropping crosses against DelijeWindsor so you never know), a loss my chances are just above 0%, and a tie I would have to rely on Vandali to hold the Lakers to at least a tie. My whole starting team is in great form other than one of my mids, so I expect a good game :)

Oof...2 of my 3 defensive mids got reds, but my D stayed solid and my strikers finished the job...with a draw or tie next week I play a promotion match :) The Lakers had 2 or 3 great chances and Leclair tackled the keeper and had an empty net but didn't shoot and got tackled, so it could have been alot closer.

Also congratulations to the Real Hawkes for their second Premier League Championship!

Well done the Rainbow Sniffers. I like your aggressive play. Two red cards in the midfield....I am going to have to study your tactics.

My season is a success with the capture of the Premier League trophy. My players are all of a similar age cohort so this season and next season is peak and then age will start to catch up and I will rebuild with younger players. But, right now the team looks great. There is no substitute for a killer striker.

I watched this game and tactic was really good :) nice throw-ins death ;> and you had much better tactic than opponent:> What next? Promiotion to Premier League?:D I hope ;>
2011-09-27 00:35:17
haha I doubt I will promote...I will either play Valiant or the Snowhares, both of whom get marks over 60 while I've only topped 50 once. This is assuming I don't mess up my last match and get to play a promotion match at all :P
2011-10-03 01:18:49
This game is a joke...I've lost 7 points on bullshit games that there is no way I should have lost. Now I don't get to play a promotion match even though I was clearly the best team in the league...what a joke. No wonder everyone is leaving this game
