Subject: New Season Predictions and Hopes
Maybe it's better you didn't promote, looking at your players you are not ready for CPL my friend and you would get thrashed every game, and loose a lot of fans etc. etc.
I probably would have lost the promotion match...but that's not the point. Out of 14 games, the ME screwed me in 3 of them, so 21% of games are just determined by luck in a game that's supposed to be about tactics. The 3 games isn't even including a couple games where I dominated and barely won either.
Big deal 80% of my loses are to weaker teams or injury marred right at important games. My tactic skills suck so what? The last time i was Cpl I got killed and took me 2 seasons to regain fan confidence.
dude you can't change tactic.. you use standard - weak tactics ;>
In their first match of the season, the Rainbow Sniffers missed ex-Cymru U21 striker Nicholas dearly as they struggled to score in a 1-1 draw. Luckily, they have brought in former Canadian NT veteran Wyn Lavrynenko to more than fill the void left by Nicholas.
At least... I start to be competitive in league II.
My goal is to finish 5th or 6th and have an easy qualified match at the end.
Lot of patience is required with this game....

League II.01 looks to be an exciting one this season. 4 games in, 5 teams are tied for first place with 7 points. The Rainbow Sniffers started off shakily with a draw and a loss, but since have won two straight and outscored their opponents 13-2. This week looks worrying however, as veteran Lavrynenko is out with a red card and youngster Leclair is still absent from a long injury.
it looks like the fight for direct promotion is going to be between me, Giancola Maples and HL Football.
I am sure at least one will have maximum points at the end. :)
You guys fight for a qualifier. an away qualifier against the 5th place from top league. that sucks. :)

Looks like transition time is in the air at Partizan. Rumor has it that the old guard of Boissieres, Kasim, Brennan and Vafir are all on the market as the team looks to move into a new era with a new look red and black uni to boot :)
Team statement:
"Lets face it, this season is a write off, we have had some good signs that the youngsters are ready to take over, now its up to management to get a top flight striker to complement this group. Its obvious by the number of draws and close games we've been in that we are just a couple of goals for away from being a title contender again, so before the start of next season we intend to make that happen. Unfortunately that will mean that some of the teams greatest players will be moving on to other opportunities, we wish them the best and thank them for their many years of cheap entertainment"

After shaking off a shaky start to the season which included a draw and loss in their first two games, the Sniffers have since gone 8-0-0 and are once again tied for first place in League II.01. The defence has also been shored up with unearthly and divine defenders, and the team's form is generally good.
Anyone interested in picking up a CPL legend or two? Vafir, Boissieres, Kasim and Brennan have all been listed. Out with the old, in with the new :) Would love to see one or two stay in Canada!
With a win today, the Rainbow Sniffers have secured their first Premier League Promotion Match, although with average marks just above 50 and little money in the bank, it seems unlikely that they will promote.
Way to go. More fodder for the Hawkes winning machine. (except for this weekend/ forgot to set the lineup- oops)
