Subject: Bonavista Boldly Beams Back!

Hi folks, this is to announce that Bonavista is back in the SK fold! We have decided that 5 months in the wilderness in enough already!

Restarting modestly in div.III (still the land of bots!) we aim to do some specialized training, (perhaps even keepers), until I see whether I have better luck in the youth pool than the first time around. Till then, I'll just try to buy some suitable Canadian trainees.

Seems like not a lot has changed since June? I did read that 5-3-2 is less effective now. True or false?!

Another big change is ticket 'price-fixing'. That's a good move, but initially I'll have to drop prices a chunk for div.III punters I reckon.

Are there any other changes of significance I should know about?

Anyway lads, I'm looking forward to another shot at SK -- the only game where you really can 'watch' the action rather than just reading it!

Welcome back.
You just missed the elections for the national teams. We have new coaches.
HL football and Partizan are already out of the Champions League.
Seca hasnt logged on since Oct 26th.
If you have some $$$ to invest into trainees then perhaps soli could suggest players. He is right on top of what Deja is looking for for the u21 team.
Get back up to div ii asap.

Welcome back! I think you left right after I joined so I don't really know you :P But have fun with the bots of III.07... It is definitely one of the most boring leagues :)

Thanks for the update #1. Sorry to hear about Seca. Can't imagine SK without him...

I'll check with soli on what's most needed. I will try to purchase talent, but as I recall, managers generally hold on to any talent < 4 wks. We'll wait & see I guess.

I should be back in div.II next season. All 7 opponents in III.07 are bots!

All the best as new Canada coach and good luck vs the Czechs Sat :)

welcome back!

I sell any player who doesn't fit with my training, so I bet you can find talented kids. :)
Last season I bought 10 kids and 8-9 have good talent :)
just avoid to buy players that are resold after about 2 months and you will be fine :)

Thanks for the Welcome back, guys. And thanks also for the words of encouragement re availability of trainees for sale Metrotown :) I'll be checking the transfer forum regularly...

And you're right, laufer. I thought my club would be long gone. I guess the fact that I had to fall from CPL and then all the way through div.II before they could ditch me. I musta peeked in just before the drop to III...?!

I've joined the Canada Assoc., brokus, but there must be a delay before I get in? When I click on 'Forum' it says: Members only. I'll try again later. Great result vs Czechs btw :)
