Subject: [U21] Results

Yes, we got lucky :) They had some good chances, especially one in close where Gruber fumbled a weak shot, and a couple headers. Other than that though, I think they only had 1 other decent chance. Both of our shots were in great position and we also had that really weird chance where the ball pinballed at midfield, their defender kicked it backwards and then Elliot got it on the wing and their keeper came out of the box. He beat the keeper and had an empty net and Dehere wide open in the box but he dribbled it instead and got tackled :/
Anyways, we're still tied for first with Germany and we have a 6 point lead on all the other teams :)

I did like your tactic. It kept them from getting breakaways and did make their players take long shots. And, going forward, we had enough threat - I am surprised that it only resulted in 2 shots recorded.
