The first match ended up with a mere three goals in our favour. I intend to do better this time around. (I hope the players got the memo.)

Apparently, the players didn't get the memo. 14 chances gave us a mere two goals. At one point I even became scared we'd end this game at 0-0. Luckily, we managed to survive without suspensions or injuries.

Really? Didn't quite see what happened.

Caraiman had a breakaway, and the defender tried to tackle him and failed the tackle, but you know how when a player dodges a tackle usually the ball is sent a bit ahead or to the side? When the defender missed the tackle he hit it a bit and it went off the post and in :P

Sounds funny indeed.

I'm sad to say we're probably not going to make it to the WC. The two points we lost in the first match are coming back to haunt us. One point against Spain is the most we could ever hope for, a loss is much more likely. All other results being largely predictable, we will end up third. Sorry people, I tried, but I simply wasn't good enough to make it happen.
