In the incredibly unlikely event England loses, or draws, we are still alive with a draw. Otherwise, only a win will keep us in the race. So we're in a position where we've nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'm going to play this game 'va banque'. The tactic is also chosen because several key players are unavailable for different reasons. One player even claimed it was that time of the month. Others suffered various injuries. One or two form crises add insult to injury.
I expect to get thrashed, but in the unlikely event I guessed right and the referee doesn't red card our players, we might have a chance.

I saw the first goal and then just checked the score. Even with alot of key players missing that's a bit disappointing. Also what's with the blue jerseys?
You might want to see the actual game, then you might understand the result a bit better. The game was roughly even until we got our first guy sent off. (Sounds familiar?) The 1-0 was a bit awkward, but our GK is really lacking in pace so it does make some sense. The defs hold back, and the GK just didn't get there in time. There is absolutely nothing you can do about that. The 2-0 was a penalty. After half time, we got the 2-1 in. The 3-1 was a shot from very far away which got mishandled by the GK. You might want to close your eyes. Really embarassing. We didn't get quite as many shots as we deserved, but the potential to get through was there all the time. Then we got our back sent off. That was pretty much the end of the game.
I had but 4 defenders worthy of the name, no winger and when all was said and done, but two midfielders. Our best striker was injured and one of the remaining three rather out of shape with just formidable form. I am surprised it took a red card to break the game open. 9-2 is excessive, but the difference in quality is 7.7 points.
By the way, we have been playing in blue since the start of the season. I'm somewhat disappointed you didn't notice until the very end of the season. I picked the third colour combination since all white is slightly too common.
Anyway, I'm very sorry we didn't manage to qualify.

Aracil basically destroyed you with his awesomeness.
I'm sorry, I didn't realize to what extent the reds/injuries/form problem was before, and I certainly know that the score doesn't always tell the story of the game.
As for the blue jerseys, you may have had them all season but it only shows the first jersey on the club page and the only other game they were used was against Indonesia and I think that's the only other match all season that I didn't see :P
Don't worry about not qualifying, we had two of the tougher top seeds and like you said, our team was in tatters for this match.
