Subject: Champions Cup

in about an hour will start for us the games in CC.

I will meet FC Bayern München, the champion of Chile
and Seca will face the german cup winner Frankfurter Jungs

My opponent is very, very strong, it will be a miracle if I win.
I just looked at Seca's opponent. He is very strong too.

I am disappointed because I didn't buy one of the MIDs I followed on TL.
Also, I forgot to buy a sub for the keeper. I hope my guy will not get injured.

A bit of a surprise I must say, I thought you would do better.......
I know you were facing a better opponent, but I thought your tactics in the premier league were spot on this season, and with the players you had I thought you could surprise. Maybe you did not scout your opponent well, or did he use a new tactic he never used before(I never watched a match). I don't really have time for this game anymore, but when I first started playing, I was raising a lot of eyebrows by beating players that were averaging a lot better marks than me just by scouting their every move and every player. And if I was facing a superior opponent, I would put a lot of emphasis on defense, and when I say a lot I mean 7-8 defenders lol. But hey it worked! But like I said those were the times when I was crazy about this game and I had a lot of time on my hands......I would literally watch every game my opponent has played that season and the different tactics he used a few times and knew where every single player would be when the ball was in a specific square hahahaha...yeah I was a psycho. These days I only care about training...I rarely watch my own games anymore......

A lot of skills about tactics in this game falls on your knowledge of the match engine and how things work in this game. If you can understand exactly where to "cheat" a little bit in the tactics it can be a decisive point in who wins the game. And in my experience nobody comes close to Seca in this. Some of you new users may not know this but Seca was unbeatable in probably 10+ seasons. And he didn't really have a lot better players than the others......it was his understanding of the match engine! Correct if I'm wrong on this Seca. Even today if you watch one of Seca's game you can see the flow of game, the movement of the players, knowing exactly when to run in open space, and when to pull back, it's simply wonderful to watch even though some of the players he uses now are just useless pylons. It's like he knows how to utilize every player to the maximum of his abilities, and not only that but exceed that maximum and play above his abilities. These days Seca only plays this game for the hell of it and logs in once a month just to keep the team. But I really belive that if he started taking this game seriously again, he can be the best manager in sokker!!! I really believe it! When Seca was in his prime there was no champions league of course.....Of course a lot of this will depend on his bank account to start buying new players, but something tells me that the account is very very big.
Seca is a sleeping giant and I hope one day it will wake up!!!

HAHAHA sorry I had a lot to drink tonight and needed to get it out of my system. Of course there is a reason why Seca doesn't take this game seriously anymore, but I will not mention it publicly. We, older users, know the reason, and a certain rant by certain someone lol. A rant which I never condoned because after all it is just a game and every one should enjoy it and have a chance to win....but somehow I feel that when I won the premier league and the cup it was like winning a prom queen of the summer school. It wasn't the real thing! I felt like a little child when your father let's you score a goal just so you can be happy and you know he let you. Sorry for boring you people hahahaha. Anyone wanna go for a beer? lol!

I feel I was reading the history of a cheap movie. U almost made me cry with ur history hahaha. Just kidding, but I am serious when I say that ur story looks like a cheap movie. Champion is not a surprise. Most of those guy are about to retire and they are craving to get the champion before they gave up to sokker, so he should have prepared more

I don't really understand the meaning of your post...but I think you are implying that if Seca preapares well he can be the champion of sokker.
You just seem to have your past tenses a little bit reversed right? hahaha

yeap, I'm probably having problems with my English(not kidding). I don't think that he would have been able to win the champion, but he should have tried harder. I am saying that Champion is about the most experimented guys in sokker. Players who want to win the championship so badly. that's all

I don't think that extraklasa are ahead of the world. I think that the following team is the one that is ahead of all Team Niløse 7690. Polish are good, but they have been defeated by the Finland teams, Team Nilose or Kondory.

the first champion of sokker was a Spanish, them it was a Romanian. You might say that chelmek it's been one the most outstanding player in sokker, but there have not been a hegemony of polish teams

well, it was a surprise for me too to loose so bad even i knew he has a better team.
there were times when i was crazy too about a game, but that one was hattrick not sokker.
I was spending a lot of time back then in 2004 to read everything and i won everything there.
When i started sokker in 2008 I wanted something new and sokker offered a 2d view of the game. it was excited, but it takes too much time to reach a level to face everybody. in hattrick i could have a very strong team way earlier.
I spent a little more time on sokker to the beggining, in 2008 and the first half of the last season.
I was disappointed when i saw that i lost an unfair game in the semifinal of the cup and i tried to find where the game was lost. and with that exception i won everything.
i start to loose interest after around 8-9 games in the league when i saw myself out of the cup and with the league almost won. and in hattrick i do the same thing like you here, just training. i found a new challenge about 3 month ago. i started lord of ultima and i spend most of the time there. here i just want to won the cup and if i can win the league will be nice, but without much effort.

and there was something else. i don't pay to play the game. and without plus i can't scout the opponents.
for this particular game i used many defenders. the 5 defenders are all divine/divine and i have the 3 defensive mids with at least brilliant defending.
The problem was the keeper who was slightly injured and in week form. the opponent scored from outside the box and I missed 2 chances with my unearthly/divine/unearthly striker alone with the opponent keeper.

Amazing victory today for P74 against Mexican Cup champs Pumas Mexicali. The teams depth paid off again, with both starting centerbacks and super speedster Tralka sitting out with red cards. It's my third CC victory, after passing two rounds of the inaugural cup before a painful third round loss on penalties. Anyways, at work so I can't watch yet, but very happy with the result. And Halstead looks to have gotten the winner :-)
