as I said before I will leave the decision to the admins since I don't think I threatened anyone, I did not insult anyone, I did not tease anyone and I did not provoke anyone.

But since you are the mod, I have to respect your decision and I dont want to get into conflicts with staff especially since I am staff myself. Thus I am posting the same post putting it differently. I hope that this post is not deleted and that now I am within the rules.

For me this is case closed and if somehow you think I played unfair I apologize. I will leave it to the admins to decide. If you're right than Im sorry.


Dear Canadian Users.

- If I get elected I promise you that during the WCQ matches we will do our best...It is very difficult to qualify, even getting second spot since Canada is rank 49 thus putting the NT in the 4th POT, meaning we will get 2 better NT teams and a very good chance of getting a 3rd NT either better than Canada or the same level. However that does not mean I will not try to get the most number of points...even against stronger teams. But I can't promise you more than this.

- My first season would be trying to get better rankings.....40th place is at reach , with a good season even this time around can be reached, moreover, I would love to try to get canada to a higher place....however there are 700+ ranking points between us and the 30th place so that would probably be a target to reach in 3 seasons.

- Canadian community at the moment is quite small and very inactive. So we need to work close with the few number of active users to improve the youth squads. Considering that with Solli , U21 NT reached the WC finals, that means that there is some material coming from the youths so we will be needing to build on that.

- I promise you that my position with the canadian users will be always clear and precise.....The NT is yours thus I am open to discussion and change....In my previous experience with Malta NT , I changed a lot of time the mode of play after suggestions from other users....I am a person very open for discussion, thus we will work as a community and not as a single individual. I will never lie to you and unless I can realistically reach a goal you will never hear me promising it. Unfortunately, last season was not so good for Canada so I am being realistic in what I promise you since if elected I want the users to be happy with me as your coach.

Should you need to ask me anything feel free to do so.

LuckyFab, I agree interest and involvement is good for your community and for your NT. Unfortunately, communities with low users have quiet a "dead" forum....even in Malta sometimes the Forum is really quiet. That does not mean people dont care but could be people just dont like spending time on forums.

You need to work with other active users behind the scenes especially encouraging junior schools and training of local players.

its true...you have 56 users....Malta is the same we have around 70 users, however regular active users are 9 or 10 maybe 12 not more....What we did is that we worked on youth schools , invested money there and build a long term program.

In fact if you look at our U21 NT it did great improvements and we are now getting more youngsters. So this should be the way forward for Canada. A long term program. You have Solli who is doing a good job. Unfortunately you lost two seasons because of change of coaches , thus there was no continuity between the U21 and Main NT.

That should be the way forward in my opinion.

I went through a thorough run of all the current NT players. Something that needs to be done is to re organize the National team players. We will be needing to remove players who are extremely old and useless from NT players and make space for prospective players aged 22-23yrs so that we will encourage their prospective users to keep on training them well. Moreover when they are on the market, they get a higher price, with a less risk of having less active users buying them with the result that they will not training them well.

I believe this is the way forward to safeguard prospective senior NT players.

My History in sokker:

- started in 2007 currently playing in the Malta Premier Division (finished 4th last season)

- Spent 2 years as Nt scout and Database coordinator

- Spent 3 seasons as U21 Malta NT coach reaching the 3 place in the WCQ group. Which was the first and last time reached by Malta until this season

- Spent 7 seasons as Malta Senior NT coach. Taking Malta from Rank 67 to rank 47 eventually leaving Malta at rank 50. Played various times the WCQ groups so I believe that my experience in this will help as well considering that next season we have WCQ matches without any previous planning from the last season as you all know. Moreover Malta achieved some good results against teams that we used to get trashed 12-0 against. Played Mini WC three times, twice passing the first round .

- Currently Tutor for Malta and was Linguist in the past.

This is Canada road to the WC.

Pilipinas and Crna Gora should not be a problem for Canada. Croatia and Belgium are quite difficult although with a good tactic you may surprise Croatia, but very very difficult. Australia on paper are better but not unbeatable.

My prediction would be a 3rd place realistically. 2nd place is almost impossible imo. My promise would be reaching at least 3rd place. Cant really promise more than that cause otherwise I would be a liar.

Not a very good draw but could have been much worst considering we are in pot 4.

Same question for you, fsoler, how can you beat a bigger nation, or a very strong team?

In other game, like hattrick, you can always MOTS, put tons of midfielders on the field to get possession and hope for an upset. How can you try the same in Sokker. How will you try?

Against a stronger team I will definitely play 5 defenders. I will work on playing 3 strong midfielders with higher def. i.e In such games I prefer to lose a bit from the passing, playmaking or technique but having a very strong def to support the defenders. Strikers depends on the opponent. I rarely play with one striker because I dont like spending all the game hoping for a draw 0-0. I prefer losing 4-2 than 1-0.

Moreover, sometimes stronger teams tend to undervalue the opponent maybe leaving a bit of space in the back and playing with 3 very offensive players renouncing of a defender instead. Thus if they are playing with 3 strikers I will have a strong defense line supported well with a high def midfield moreover maybe getting those 2-3 chances of score since they leave some space in the back.

If they play with a less offensive formation , than probably since we will have a strong def line plus high def midfield, it will make their play really difficult reducing slightly their chances to score. However, if this happen , our chances to score will be lowered but on the other hand the chances that we get goals are minimized.
