such trainer is good for a start especially in low divisions like yours so your idea is good. The only problem with that coach is that his wage is really high for nothing. you can easily find similar coach with much less wage imo which can easily save you around 10,000C$ a week. Wages play an important part and you really need to focus on reducing the weekly costs...especially in the begining.
some examples (from transfer market)
Albert Routley , age 78

thats good!! It must be though to pay wages than! may I ask you how much sponsor money you get per week?
for my main coach I am happy to pay the extra$$$$ to have better training in side skills.
thanks for the info, but I am happy with my coaches, we have a connection

I agree with you...even I pay a lot for my main coach to try to get the highest side skills as possible for random pops.....regarding assistants I have two at the moment.....my advise of the coach I posted was for Iamloserka who started the game now and have a low sponsor money weekly and I was advising him that with less money he can get a better coach
I think from lower division is very difficult to keep up with the wages especially coaches and youth squads. I admire you that from 2nd division you still manage to keep up with so much wages....well done!

I have 3 assistants and the principal who has 5/6 of his skills lvl16 ;)
Just stop to take everything I say to show others that I'm wrong and I don't know what I do. I'm tutor and Mod :)

I go a magical head coach, a magical youth coach and 3 brillant assistant.
I swicht my two magical coachs to fit my training regime on the senior squad, so I don' have to hire any other one.

Thats how I work personally as well. I have 2 magical (1 youth and 1 main) and 2 brilliant coaches as assistants. However I used to have 3 brilliant assistants. Decided to try to remove one to see if I see any difference in pops and to reduce some wages for a couple of weeks. However to my surprise I did not see any changes in training (i.e losing random pops because of 2 assts instead of 3)
I think the asst coach thing is quite arguable. We dont have a real proof whether 3 are better than 2 or two are better than 1 or the other way round.
I read a post by Solli in this forum stating that he is trying with 3 incredible coaches assistants instead of 2 Brilliant/Magical. Checco seems to be doing the same as stated in his previous post, so maybe they are seeing better results with that system rather than having two strong coaches as their assistants. They are the best people to tell us if by changing to this system whether they saw more benefits in training cause they tried it. It is an interesting point however and their theory makes sense too.
The problem is that when you have nothing in rules specifically, you need to work with assumptions and trial and error. If Checco and Soli are having still the same results or maybe better, I would probably try their system too cause I think it will actually reduce wages as well.
