Dear friends,

once again I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for accepting me as your NT coach. It will not be an easy task but I am sure that we will do good. The beginning will be difficult but we can do it.

As I told you before, my priorities are to try to set a good squad. Immediately next saturday we will have the first WCQ match which will be though. We have very few time to work, but I am already seeing what there is in the database to see what material there is. We have some old players that need replacement and we have to sort the gk issues as well. But that is all for now. We will speak more direct in the closed forum. I will keep this topic to share basic things so that even non members of closed forum can discuss their things. Obviously, tactics formation etc will only be discussed in the closed forum.

To help me out with my work, I decided to take on board some people. Checco and myself had an agreement during the elections (agreed in private) that whoever from us will win , the other one will be the assistant coach so that we will try to get the utmost from each other to help Canada gain the rankings we had before.

Moreover I decided to get someone to take care of player updates and database so basically teh staff is as follow.

BBoss11 (database co-ordinator and scout)

I like to keep my staff small so that we will work better cause everyone will know what responsibility he has.

I am also dealing for friendlies, trying to get teams same as us to try to get as much as possible ranking points.

Congratulations. You`ve put together a super coaching team.

My team is working on developing some good attacking midfield options for the future. In the past sokker has had strikers and wingers and defensive midfielders, but I think that there is a place for attacking midfielders who have great playmaking and technique, but also good passing and striker skills.

Dear all, I am currently going through the players we have. Unfortunately, we have a very old team. Most of the best players are now over 30yrs. I will have to play with most of these players this season cause otherwise we will not be competitive especially since we have the WCQ matches so we need all the best players in the starting 11.

I already removed some players from the main NT to introduce more youngsters. We are lacking a lot of players of age between 23-27 so we need to start to focus on that.

Whoever get in touch with any good/potential NT U27 player please post in the closed forum so that we ll try to introduce new young faces.

This work is important mainly cause in 3/4 seasons time otherwise we will be finding problems to set up a competitive team.

Well done Mario..I know that it is not my job to scout players for Canada, but will give a helping hand if I encounter any Canadian promising player..good Luck for your new job ..Will sure that you will do very well...

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bboss11...he did a hell of a job these two days and we managed to update the database to a satisfactory level.

We found players who were not updated for ages . So now we have 4 great keepers U26, Defenders seem we are covered quite well as well. Mids we are lacking a bit cause we have some old ones but hopefully we will get something as time goes by.

Now we have at least 24 players updated with their latest skills and that makes a bit my life easier.
