Today we start a new chapter and for these last friendly matches we will be introducing new fresh faces to start preparing a squad for the next couple of seasons. Today we will play a match with our under 27 against Egypt. They will play their senior team so I am expecting a balanced game.

Dear friends,
the match ended 1-1. Not a fantastic match but a good draw considering we played new players and U27.
Moreover they player SIX defenders! never seen anything like that! In front we really lack players unfortunately. hopefully for next WCQ matches in 2 seasons they get better cause we really lack strikers.
Defence worked quite well but we still conceded 2/3 through passes despite getting the defence slightly back. Need to work more on that. Serioux sucked , Heinze was much better. Mita not bad either. Zaharrija so and so but in mid we are quite ok. what worries me is the attack.

tomorrow we will be playing one of the last two matches for this season. Tomorrow we will have the NT competition winners playing the NT match.
I decided to give the chance to the first 5 winners instead of the first 3 as a reward for your interest. Well done to everyone.
We will be playing Cyprus. A very tricky team. I am not expecting miracles tomorrow since we will be ahving 5 players with lower skills than others we have in database.
Thus I am expecting a hard time tomorrow.
I hope we manage to have a good performance and ideally a good result too. But for this game the result is secondary. For tomorrow it is time to compensate the users who take a lot of interest in training Canadian players.

today we played a friendly match against Cyprus. We lost 3-1 but we expected that we were going to lose since we played 5 winners of the win the NT. Some of them did well , others did less. Today I pulled the def a bit back and seems to give some more security so with our top defenders I will be expecting a strong back.
Well done and thank you to all the users who participated. Hope you enjoyed watching your trainees playing. Felix Omar even scoring. Next season if re elected we will do something similar but slightly different to try to motivate training strikers.
Now next week we will have our last friendly match.
I will be playing that match with the best team possible since as from now on we need to work on our rankings.
Moreover we will need to start preparing for the America Cup since I am not in just for participating. We need to move forward in the competition as much as we can.

America Cup Draw was done as well. We will be Playing Chile (Very very difficult) , Venezuela (very difficult but not impossible) and Cuba (within reach). We still waiting for Mini WC draws. Canada will be in pot 3 but if we are not unlucky it is highly possible we get a very reasonable 2 pot. A lucky Pot 1 wont harm either!. Will study a bit more the teams since some of them changed NT coaches and give you a better overview in the closed forum.

Canada Sokker National Team
So fixtures are now almost finalized. Still looking for week 8 but that is not a big issue at the moment.
This is our friendlies list. We have some though games, some balanced, some easy and some U27 so I am trying to have a mixture so that we will prepare well for the WCQ matches.
At the moment I am dedicating most of my time on the Database. I am quite happy how things are proceeding and till now we almost have 50+ updated in 2013 so thats a good start. I also found some new players which although still a bit back they look good. we have 2 other potential strikers and we are quite fine def and GK. Mids so and so but we all know mids take more time since they have more skills to train.
I hope we get a good season and we do well in both cups.
