We started to work on friday's match, a very hard one with Romania u21.
Our spy took a lot of skills of their players, so we know something of them: they are very very strong, and better than us.

Of course, we'll do our best :)

I decided to play hard friendlies (spain,italia,turkiye,hrtvaska) but anyway there will be a lot of U20... they will be nice to test =)

Ah and guys, we are have really low defenders... try to train them :(

My spy made a database about Romania's players... we know a lot of them... and i can say this:

they have like 4-5 points more on primary skills of every player xD but we'll do our best :)

How did you get a tie out of that game? (shakes his head) They had 17 shots to our 3. I think that you have a horseshoe or lucky loonie buried under Real Hawkes Arena. (wink) Well done!

Cumberland was simply amazing... But i think i put a good tactic, they had monsters but we put a better tactic. As I thought, their coach is not so good. A team like that should have done 30-1 shots with us...

I think that's the importance of rand... ehm... tactics! :D

our defenders were well positioned, always between their strikers and the goal, both in the first and in the second half when we experimented the "rubberband" defence. they left their strikers almost only shoots from distance, except when occasionally they managed to dribble past a couple of our defs and shoot. a couple of posts hitten and a couple of great saves bt Cumberland, in those occasions.

our counterattack was almost always well backed by our mids, fast and potentially dangerous.

above all, I think we did a good job with offensive and defensive throw-ins. we scored on one of those situations.

imho, if Andy Barnaby had scored with that rocket at 89', the stadium would have crumbled down ant it would have been the perfect game.

and now, head to the next!

Spain U21 coach agreed to play with many U20 :)

We'll try to a lot of them... but sadly I have to say we have very few 20yo...

Unluckily i don't have enough time to make you a good presentation of our game with New Zeland U21.
